As an Albanian, I love the brother who shouted out Eastern European/Balkan Muslims. May Allah SWT reward him and continue fuelling him with knowledge.

I watched Ramy and I found the wudu scene so funny, in an ironic way. When I converted, the first time I went to a mosque and did wudu, I had a sister interrupt me to tell me that I didn't need to wash my feet, just wipe over my socks if I already had wudu under them. The thing is, I didn't have wudu under them, but she was watching me, so I just put my socks back on and prayed like that. I now know everything that was wrong with that whole thing, but the pressure of expectations and thinking that others must know more than me as a newbie, it was real.

my sister and i have a thing, whereevery time we see a hijabi extra in a movie/show, we pause and yell "representation" just because it's funny how they won't be main characters, but sure they can be extras with no lines in the background, that's allowed lmao

While I'm not Muslim, or a believer in any religion, it is interesting to understand the religion a bit more. It is important that everyone understands that people are the same regardless of colour, and religion.

4:09 one of the reason I stick with Islam is because this religion is so detail, it is contains life style. The Creator of the universe ofc would give clear instruction what to do, how to do, and everything. But maybe don't shout to stranger 😂

I think Muslims should learn the basics of the religion before teaching someone about it. For example, the purification scene. If someone did the purification then wore their socks or even shoes ( if the shoes were above the ankle bones) they only need to wet their hands and wipe the upper surface only ( which is the sunnah), and they don't need to soak in water, which will result in a foot smelling mosque. Plus, they would start having fungus.

Very soft education will not teach anything
Of course very strict is not good too
But the first guy who told the other dude how to do wuduu is perfectly fine he’s doing that for the other guy’s good
    Stop being too soft!

i think, the most prominent thing i see in muslim representation are
they all almost always middle eastern.., or indian
sometime black person, because northern africa also part of the old islamic caliphate
    but
in term of muslim population nowadays
the biggest population aren't even middle eastern or arab or black
it's as if we didn't exist
and, media and people seems having a hard time too differentiating between islamic culture and arabic culture
no, not all of us fond of those bushy beard
if we do it here, at rainy season, it will be full of mosquitos, thank you

@@icemountains well I think they’re stupid. I don’t understand how anyone would want to follow a religion when all religions are shit. If there’s a god out there then I hope he is a good person. If he is a bad person like how depicted in the books then I don’t care if I’m going to hell. God should help those who he deem to be genuinely good people not those who worship him out of fear.

@yesplatinum7956 Again, God isn't a person. And just because you don't understand something doesn't make it stupid, also don't you think people should be free to believe in and be a part of whatever religion they want?
