I am over the moon about that because now we have that in common. She only likes mattes so this palette was perfect. She said that shimmers are not flattering on mature eyes because it can accentuate the wrinkles. But she loves her some color!
Imo the great thing about blendbunny mattes is that they have good pigment but they're so buildable and super blendable. It is my favorite eyeshadow formula.

This is the first video I have seen using just the pastels all over the lid and, wow, they really are amazing! As pastel yellows go that performs really well - I would like to see how it works blending out edges and if it disappears. I have been meaning to buy BlendBunny palettes for a loooong time but I have to buy all 3 because shipping here is more than the cost of the palettes. Totally worth it but I am still waiting for a sale lol.
AMAZING pastel looks 😻💕🥰 OMG these 2 looks are hands down the MOST GORGEOUS pastel looks I’ve ever seen. I simply cannot get over how pretty they are! Just like you, I’m generally more drawn to the purple blue looks but in this case I’m equally impressed with the green yellow side 🥹🥰 I can’t decide!!! Another thing tho - I just wondered how the mattes formula of Blend bunny compared to Norvina 6? I understand that for you Americans it’s probably an easy pick - Blend-bunny’s formula is to die for and cheaper than Norvina. But for us outside of the States (Aussie in my case), international shipping costs an arm and a leg for any American indie brands. Unlike the main stream ABH, we can get it from Sephora AU with free shipping….Take this Blends palette for example, it’s $39, and the freight is $45.05, in sum $84.05, way more expensive than Norvina 6… So my question is: is the formula of Blends way way way better than Norvina 6’s? Or just slightly better? Or I can get away with Norvina 6? Which one is more pigmented, buildable, blendable? Thx heaps 💝
tbh i'd say what I used in this video is similar to the shades Ive tried in Norvina 6. I havent tried the deeper shades in Norvina 6 yet so I can't vouch for how similar they are to Blend Bunny's other palettes or the deeper ones in here. But if Im honest, I dont think there's a big enough difference between the two from the shades Ive tried. The only real difference is that certain pastels are lighter in this one (blend bunny), and the mid tone purple called C5 in Norvina 6 is a bit wonky to work with if you're not used to finessing a shade. Blends also has more shade selection with reds/neutrals than Norvina 6.

Honestly, I thought that was a little bit of a hype situation but I got a set, anyway. I loved how both looks came out 😍 Also, little fact here from someone who works at a catering company that makes its own frozen desserts. Sherbert's original spelling was missing the second r and pronounced sher-but. Your pronunciation of sher-bert is correct and sor-bay is also correct, but they are two different desserts. Sherbert has diary such as a small amount of milk or cream to make it richer while sorbet has no diary ☺️
Sorbet is great for making mimosas! Instead of OJ, mix a bottle of champagne with a pint of raspberry sorbet or whichever flavor you prefer. So good for a brunch with friends 😋 and instantly makes a chilled drink ☺️
The base I put down was making secret mostly go into dust, but I managed. At least I know for next time. Still turned out cute. Thank you for this tutorial🖤. Can you suggest what base works best for pastels? Xo
Anything thick and sticky works best! I think the abh eye primer and the plouise eye base work the best. You could also try the nyx jumbo eyeshadow stick in milk if you want a drugstore option! This palette unfortunately doesn’t work the best with concealer from what I noticed, makes it dusty and chunky 😩❤️

Id say similar to the pastel formula beauty bay has (with the palettes I have from them). Their Pastels palette though isn't as good as this formula, but the random ones in certain palettes are lovely. Only difference would be these would be slightly more pigmented and not as dusty! More userfriendly because of that. Not sure how the other shades compare since I havent tried them yet!

I use both all the time! I’d say this one overall is better since fade into hue has some problems with the deepest blue matte and the deeper purple mattes! This one is fully matte whereas fade into hue has shimmers and glitters so they’re a bit different in that way 💜
I love this and tbh you're super talented. The only thing is why the random lines and not wings on your eyes instead? It doesn't look that great. If you're gonna outline it in white why not go around all of the eyeshadow that you put on each eye. It would look a lot better and more put together.

Its one of those palettes I would call a "one and done!" has everything you need when it comes to mattes :)

It kind of dusts off but not completely! You have to kind of finesse it and be careful with it!

Tbh I never thought I’d use a white liquid liner but it’s a staple for me!
I used a water activated liner. It's super easy to fix if you make a mistake. Just erase with water and a qtip and start again🖤

Just use a dark color like black or darker color than your eyeshadow instead of white. It would contrast better.
Another great idea if you truly wanna do designs on the eyes is so actual designs or scenes on the eyes.
