    A very belated thank you for this thorough review, a lot of work and it shows!
    Thank you especially for the comparison to Rephr which are my favorite brushes but do require so much more care, I’d like a synthetic set.

    Thank you for such an indepth review and all the comparisons!
    I have such brush envy of your collection - I do not use natural hair brushes but I appreciate the craftsmanship.
    BlendBunny brushes are not my usual preference of shape but that is why I need them. Plus, that *blend* is just beautiful!
    I do wish they were not black because I use so much black shadow and at least once a week I end up having to convince myself something like "smokey peach" is a look.

    Milly! You always drop the video we need. I was on the blend bunny site last night trying to decide whether or not I want to order the brushes and which blend bunny palette to order to start off with the brand. I looked for some brush reviews and couldn’t find any. Thank you for the awesome review (and on time content!) 💕🤗✨

    One thing I love about these brushes, more specifically B2, is how easy it makes applying shadows to the lower lash line. I always struggled with that but something about the brush shape makes it super fool proof. Love it!

    My eyes are not hooded, but they are deep-set to a degree where I find my eyeshadow and liner "issues" are very similar to those of you with hooded eyes. Watching you and annette has helped SO MUCH with my technique!
    Thus I'm picky about what I like for mattes and crease work. My favorite I've found so far is the sigma E42-I have three of them now! Looks like I might have to give that B4 a try :)

    • @badtothebrow
      @badtothebrow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      They’re only selling these in a bundle right now, but it’s very affordable for a set of 5 eye brushes with such great size and the quality feels really good!

    Thanks for the review. I recently have invested in Rephr brushes and I love them!! I do have some natural hair brushes from Glam Shop that I enjoy too. However, there are still some Sigma and BH Cosmetic brushes that I love with my smaller hooded eyes. I'm definitely gonna try a set of these after your review.

    As always these comparisons are perfect! I do my eyes lightest to darkest as well, I wouldn't even know how to do it the other way! I do have small eyes, one is a monolid and the other is sort of a double eyelid so these might be the perfect size! 🙌🏽 it's always a struggle, I don't end up using like half of the blending brushes in most sets 😂

    Thank you heaps for the in-depth comparisons and tutorials. And your lid colour is LIT 🔥. I have heard so many amazing things about Blendbunny - their eyeshadows and brushes and I really want to try this brand - I’ll wait till the shipping to Australia doesn’t cost $50 anymore. Just like you, I’ve been really enjoying Japanese fude like rephr, Sonia G and Chikuhodo I kinda forget about my Sigma and Zoeva and Real Techniques… I have hooded eyes but with quite large lid space. I like small blending brushes and pencil brushes.

  • @FacesByGina

    Okay. First of all, dark to light is the objectively correct way to apply eyeshadow.
    Second of all, the clear tape to keep your brushes from rolling is a fan.tastic idea.
    Thirdly, is the hakkuhodo brush a short brush like the usual rephr ones, or is it longer like Sigma (i.e., the objectively correct length)

    I've been looking at the Blend Bunny brushes. Fox Does Makeup said they were really nice on her channel. I only have the Sigma detail set (love them!), some tiny Kevyn Aucoin brushes & the Wayne Goss 19 & his og 04 brush. The Kevyn Aucoin brushes are discontinued and I don't think WG is making the natural hair 19 ones anymore.
    The Surge palette & brush set are definitely on my wishlist!

    I got this because I liked the idea of smaller brushes for my crease, but I’m finding the B2-B4 too stiff and pointy to use for blending so far. They just kind of deposit spots of color. Hoping to get the hang of it.

    It's so very hard to find small blending brushes. I think I'm going to grab these, especially since they are now on sale. May I ask where the glitter eyeshadow is from or what it is? It looks impeccable on top of your blends and those colors.

    Great video! Just something out of topic. You talked about plouise bases. Do you set them with powder before adding eyeshadows? How do you prevent creasing?

    • @badtothebrow
      @badtothebrow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’re not supposed to set them, you’re essentially setting them by applying the eyeshadow. I think those types of primers are best only for heavier looks vs everyday simple, 2 mattes and a shimmer type of looks.

    Bought Blend Bunny first 2 pallets and brushes set because of tons reviews where people mentioned like best eyeshadows of 2021. Well… with all respect to everyone - I don’t like it. As for the shadows - they don’t blend so well like other say 🙄 They applied on eyelids with patches. The pigment is just okay 🙄 It’s a compact palette with different pretty colours - yes but that’s it. Same with brushes - their shape is strange, not functional, couple of them looking repetitive between them. So I would divide other opinions about how great it is on 100 (including mine) haha

    • @kristasweetleaf5695
      @kristasweetleaf5695 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess everyone's opinion is different but I think they blend phenomenally! and the layout in gradients in the palettes is very helpful especially on those "don't wanna even think about it" type of days.

    Thank you for this video! I have hooded eyes and I've been looking for brushes that I can use, but I need them to be affordable because I don't have much money to work with. I was looking at a few sigma brushes, but they are way too expensive for me. I'm having a hard time finding the link for these though... Not sure if you provided one or not. I'm hoping these are affordable! Also, you were talking way too fast while naming each brush. I didn't know what each of these brushes were, so I kind of wish you slowed down with how fast you were talking. Had to replay the video a few times just to catch the name of the brush/brand. I dislike having to play a TH-cam video over and over again because it's hard to stop the video where you left off and I end up missing a lot of the video and I had to keep going back and fourth which is annoying. You were talking as if you assumed that everyone already knew what the brushes were. Toward the end of the video while you were giving your thoughts, it also seemed rushed. Very difficult to follow and not beginner friendly.
