You are brave. It came out great. Hope you left the homage to wood grain around the radio, but either way no wrong. Looks great!!

Well that looks amazing. Good job. Mine looks pretty terrible as well but I just can't be bothered. Nice job though!

Wow, that looks fantastic! I personally like the black better than the wood trim on certain colors of 470s & LC. The corner of my wood trim on my LC wore out this summer, which provides me the incentive to do this project.

Yes do the same with the other trim part!

Dude this looks awesome! I like the wood trim on my LX470 but it’s in good condition but regardless Yours looks great! I’d definitely do the rest of the dash trim. Looking forward to seeing the results.

The first thing I did when I got my LC was to git rid of the wood garbage. I used iOS head to get the glue off. I did paint mine the original silver cover though. Yes, get rid of all the wood, but paint with a flat black. Piano black is terrible!

I've got black from factory, I'd want a matt finish to match the rest of the car.

Very nice, it looks so much better than before! A worthy DIY for sure!
Should you do the same to the infotainment area...? I would say yes, but that just opens up the rabbit hole of also removing any other wood trim you might have on the vents or door cards depending on your level of "everything must match!". 😁
The extra-extra mile would be doing a little tape work and playing with some areas gloss and others textured/matte in high scratch or sun reflectivity locations. Not needed, but could save some annoyance down the road. (ie: center section matte and outside surround where the vents are in gloss)

Nice work. Where did you get the shifter cover (PRND2L)?

      Which one did you get?

Got the REMIN 31pc kit from CARID FOR $212. I ordered medium burl but i can't decide if I like the newer lighter shades better. Platinumburl is more like the LX470.

Removing that old stuff is a chore. Must be that super 3M adhesive tape. Really tough to get off. Gonna try the Goo Gone next.

600 for the bare plastic, 1500 for primer and color sand

I'd buy a new wood kit for $200. Nice job on the paint work but it is going to scuff quickly.
