I bought this 3 weeks ago and love it, it is a great all round piece if kit. My only small issue was that the blade that came with it did not cut very well and I ended up fitting the spare. I have a lot of Sizzix kit [machines, boards, trimmers, dies and stamps] and am really pleased with it all.

I have been using Sizzix since the beginning, we came across in America,bought an original machine & dies Cat being the main 1, still love it I met (sorry cannot remember his name Not Peter)at Craft fair possibly Harrogate n.yorks in the early days.Had a nice chat got some bargains. I have no idea how many dies I have now(too many to count)I still have them all & Big shot of course. I am in my 70s now , unfortunately I have not been able to get the trimmer & scorer yet. I enjoyed this demonstration/instruction. I was wondering if there was an instruction for making the lid like a 'hinge' so that it's attached to the box and can be lifted up without being removed. I world usually put a small half-circle notch to be able to lift up the hinge-lid. Thank you.

@@sizzix Now I see. I think, that's not working without problems. The ruler in cm lies on the right side (away) of the blade and UNDER the paper. How is it possible to use it?? Perhaps you can show another video with explaining?
@sizzix Is there no explanation, of how to read the metric ruler if there is a sheet of paper over it? Unfortunately, I can't buy the item under these circumstances. Maybe if the article has been improved...

Hi there! The unit of measurement under the blade is in inches, isn‘t it? Would like cm for exact cutting!

What weight of paper are you using to make this box? ❤️🇨🇦
Hey, Pete has used a range of our papers from our patterned to our opulent. He prefers to create with 300gsm for a stable box. Hope this helps 😊
Everything eprfect - apart from the extremely irritating background 'sound/music?' Only managed 4 minutes then had to turn off sound.
