Not sure if you're still training. But hatton's flaw was that he got his power from momentum, much like amir khan. That leaves you wide open for the counter punch. Hatton is better skilled, but he still has that same issue

Coming from a Mexican family that was big into boxing, I discovered Hatton on an undercard for Naseem some time back. Ricky Hatton will always be one of the most loved boxers in English history, not one fight was boring, he lost to only the best in the world, in Manny and Floyd, how many boxers were even good enough to fight those legends? A true man of the people, a bloke who took the Mickey out of himself for being fat,but he got himself into incredible shape.
    And those body punches 👏

Unfortunately, Thickie Rickie became a victim of his own propaganda and arrogance. I recall in an interview after the weigh-in with Pacman, he said: "I was standing next to him and I wondered how he was going to stand up to me; my strength, my power". Well, Ricky boy he certainly showed you how. He dropped you twice in the first round and knocked you fucking sparko in the second!

45-1-32 Hatton was actually scary back then, we really thought he was gonna be a problem to Manny but then his attacks were too predictable he always leans forward which gave Manny the opportunity to knock him out cold lying flat on his back literally in the middle of the ring.

Certainly, it's evident that Hatton faced primarily lower-tier boxers, as his struggles against top-tier opponents like Mayweather and Pacquiao clearly demonstrated his inability to compete at their level.
