Great video just like all the rest! I am trying to figure out what reel I should be using to fish for kob in the surf with lures... I have seen a variety of suggestions from 4000 to 6000... sizes differ from brand to brand as well then so not sure what I should be targeting... the budget is 2000 so not wanting to go crazy in the higher-end models... any suggestions would much appreciated as I have been all over the place trying to figure this out and comparing specs, etc...

And i have a suggestion on a trace for the type of fishing you'll guys do So i learned about this about 3 years ago Its a 3 hook trace for scratching 2/0 hook at the top 6/0 hook in the middle 8/0 or 10/0 hook at the bottom Length of your trace line is up to you Match that with the Length of your rod so its easier to handle And how this trace works is on the small hook A small piece of whatever bait you using Middle would be the head of the bait Bottom is live bait of your choice No matter how slow the fishing is You'll never go home empty because something will be there to take your bait

The Kob commercial fishing became very weak a few years back
Not at all like it was a couple years back but we do get a good run now and then
