The limits around the amp, ie power, headunit, analog cables, speakers, road noise, engine noise negates any usefulness of this beautifully designed amp. It will never see it's TRUE potential.
Tony really is a mad scientist of electrical engineering. Cost aside that amp is a work of art. Curious to see the next line of amps he wants to release.
@meade916 that amp reminds me so much of the old super rare Precision Power 2500F1. Looks just like one till the meters light up. Serious SQ. Congrats and Merry Christmas!
1500bd was my favorite amp as well. Got it back in the day when I saw your civic build. Didn’t go all out with the 18’s but had 2 Power HX2 15’s in a Solara. Loved that setup! Awesome Christmas present and merry Christmas!
That amp appears to be an amazing piece of engineering. I so wish I could hear it in person. Although my favorite part of this video was your breakdown of setting gains. Wow just great info. Thanks!
That is straight freaking bad ass man. I wish I could have the 4 channel and the 2 channel. Beautiful bad ass amps bro. Ur lucky as hell. Hook it up to the dyno and see what she does.
If the meters represented the separation of channels on the sq track that’s dang good! Slamming the positioning to each side quickly and accurate. I want one in my Versa! Ja ja ja ja
I remember back in the day (around 1993) I used a class A amp for mids and highs. Or at least 20 watts class A with Phoenix gold amps and Boston pro composets front and rear. For subs I had two beyma 15k200's in BR 80 liters. Don't remember all the amps I had on the subs but it sounded awesome back then.
I’ve been watching your vids since like 1988 Pre youtube .... lol ... Been there through the highs and lows .. nice to see great people out there doing great things . U had had vids I cried on , and always smile on . Keep up the good work and always keep it real. I’m still watching ....
Only car sound channel that can make a system sound good on a mobile device. I know it’s impossible to make a sub sound good. But the mids and highs come through clear.
Man I watched this other guys latest video n I had to comment. I’m sorry I gave this dude the time of day but I watched his whole video. Damn there’s haters over there. I don’t own any of ur products but I trust n u. Ur quality of work n attention to detail is amazing n I know u do shit right. When I build my next system I will buy ur stuff to make sure it’s set up right. Keep doin what ur doin n just keep proving the haters wrong bro! Happy new year. Best to u n yours
the guy who made that video is a certified clown and DEFINITELY a coward. The people in the comments are just as bad but worse. But they ain't slowing me down any my life is FUN! Theirs...well, that is the only enjoyment they got all year. Thanks Mike!
Got a badass set of ear buds!!!. Your channel ALWAYS bumps, but with these buds, and this vid.....damn!!!!!!!!...kickass steve-o👍👍👌👌👌👌😊. Keep it up brother!!!. Thx!!
Such an insanely beautiful/badass amp. D'Amore puts out such a great product. The cool thing is their performance matches their looks. Very awesome Christmas present.
Wow... That's an awesome x-mas gift... Sweet... That amp is no joke... Fucking serious class A amp... It's just Beautiful... Good luck brother..... Enjoy the shit out of if.....
I'm suggesting to everyone into car audio to buy the dd1. I spent over 1500 bucks at a local shop to install my door speakers on a 4 channel and 2 subs on a monoblock. Pock my car up I get told to not turn my bass nob over 3/4 of the way up. I bought the dd1 and double checked what this place did, my pioneer head unit tops out at 62. Distortion hit my highs at 60 my bass at 58. At 47 my whole system was distorted. This piece of equipment is the truth.
Sure, without the possibility to properly use a scope and/or THD analyzer, DD1 is the only thing made for normal people to get their gains properly set. Shocked that nothing else is on the market, still! The price/performance is a bit steep for me, especially as an electronics tinkerer, but the device is well made.
Would love to see some in car demos with this thing. I decided to pick up the dd1+ today, this video convinced me, to help do my system justice. I run all McIntosh amps so I am real curious.
Still got all my Audio Control eqt's, 4xs, epic-center and esp-3 from the 90's still. All is brand new, except for the eqt's that was used for competition only 3-4 times by a former classmate of mine. Haven't decided if i'm going to sell them or not.
Bro your bone yard is full of gems i love rockford...i used to have a bd1000 amd it slammed. Wished i could get my hands on one of those old school rockford amps. Quality shit right there!
That puppy is the cat's pajamas! "Back in the day I woulda cut my grandma's arm off and hit her with it for one of these." Haha, that is quoted from Steve Meade in the boneyard amp video, referencing the mighty Soundstream Class A
Love how it comes in a shell case and no Manual . I think that shows guy that is going to buy this knows how to hook shit up. Hope u had a good Christmas ... hope baby got a Stocking full of doggie treats ...
it is nice. I worked my ass off to be in this position. If you get up off the internet and go get a job, you can have things too, in as little as 2 weeks. If you don't like your job get a better one. Or work your way up the chain and learn skills along the way that make you more valuable. Sitting on the internet all day ain't gonna do it.
That's so bad ass. Another great demo song for sound quality is "Della Brown" by Queensryche off the Empire album. Check it out, the whole album is amazing for sound quality. What they do with the snare, kick, cymbals, bass guitar, his voice, and the wall of guitars are amazing. Perfect sound quality. The remastered sounds a little brighter but they'll both work. Merry Christmas, dood
lemme guess...their class a amp...😉 MAN THAT THING IS INCREDIBLE!! Finally something for the escalade??? And maybe invest for a pioneer deh 80prs for the test bench that thing has clean signal all the way to max volume at 4 volts...
I use an oscilloscope, but I'm about to buy a DD1+. I'm tired of trying to set people's shit up with them trying to show me how to use my equipment. I think a flashing light is easier for them to understand. Lmao 🤣
Sick amp!!! I still use a a cheap DSO138 with a 3d printed case for setting gains haha, im a cheap a** sob, im sure your handhelds are top quality I've had them in my perif's for a while now....some day I might just have one.
I love them old school punch bd amps that's my next purchase in the future my neighbor had 3 12"s & 3 15's on a bd 1500 1.d back in the late 90s early 2000s in a station wagon he was the hardest hittin car in my town he got like 4-5. Loud music tickets before he sold that set-up LoL..... Ole skool Fosgate is the shit!
Sweet amp D’Amore engineering is close to my house. It’s in the building Rockford Fosgate use to be on the corner spot. On Rockford Fosgate ave.i didn’t know what it was until a few months back. Rockford s a few buildings south now. Well it was idk if they recently moved it or just took the signs down.probsly sick of people stealing there sign lol
meade916 steeveeeee what is a cool head unit i can put in my 02 tahoe that will be compatibles with myRockford Fosgate sounds processor 360.3.So I would like to use the S video style and just have one cable
I'll be honest, if I had one of those I'd likely spend most of my time looking at those lights. Even through my relatively basic computer studio speaker setup and youtube compression I could tell that thing sounds sweet! As far as gains go I like my scope, just my preference and I already have one around I use for electronics projects. See a lot of guys forget to check their deck output, mine only puts out clean sound at 33 or 34 out of 35. Happy new year Steve.
i would love to see your gain setting procedure with a scope. Everyone thinks they are cool by saying "i have a scope i like it better" but so far i have yet to see anyone use it right. Having a scope and using the correct procedure is two different things. Not saying you don't but i would bet cold hard cash almost 100% of the people who "love my scope better" for sure ain't doing it right. And i bet 99% of them dont even own a scope, they just like to say it to fit in. LOL

That’s amp is beautiful but can I get the suitcase?
I love the amp only best of the best got a amp like that dang I would love to even have an amp half as good as that one
Kind of reminds me of a High End Modern Day McIntosh Amp “MC4000M” with the level meters under the glass. Amazing product D’Amore Engineering.
Trash headunit kill details, same on iphone
The limits around the amp, ie power, headunit, analog cables, speakers, road noise, engine noise negates any usefulness of this beautifully designed amp. It will never see it's TRUE potential.
Steves boneyard has better inventory than most “professional” audio shops lol right on!
THANKS FOR THE BREAKDOWN OF CHECKING THE GAINS / DISTORTION ON EACH COMPONENT...
Tony really is a mad scientist of electrical engineering. Cost aside that amp is a work of art. Curious to see the next line of amps he wants to release.
Fedex guy prob dropped it off nextdoor to avoid the possibility of running into your security turkey again 😂😂😂😂😂🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🍻🍻🍻
I love how genuinely excited he was ! Watching this made me feel like a kid again opening gifts on Christmas.
@meade916 that amp reminds me so much of the old super rare Precision Power 2500F1. Looks just like one till the meters light up. Serious SQ. Congrats and Merry Christmas!
I’m thinking of getting one of these to push my 2 6x8’s in my Ford Focus.
1500bd was my favorite amp as well. Got it back in the day when I saw your civic build. Didn’t go all out with the 18’s but had 2 Power HX2 15’s in a Solara. Loved that setup! Awesome Christmas present and merry Christmas!
One of the most beautiful looking amps ive seen lately.
This amp is so impressive the price tag doesn't make one flinch. It is clearly worth every penny. For sure cuz.
Cannot wait to see the internals and the dyno. Make it happen :)
Thats amazing. Beautiful. Made me think of Pulp Fiction when they open that briefcase. The big reveal being this amp.
Grandkids can wait.....
Amps is where it's at!!!!!
I'm loving the clipping lights indicator... Sickkkkkkk.... Bad ass amp.
That amp appears to be an amazing piece of engineering. I so wish I could hear it in person. Although my favorite part of this video was your breakdown of setting gains. Wow just great info. Thanks!
That's the caddy daddy amp for the B² sweet like Danish and playing metallica one
Looking good wit the weight loss brotha! Keep killing it!
Omg that is one cool pick up truck! I want it

*I can't believe the FedEx guy came back after the Turkey punked him out* 🦃💪
this was at my shop LOL
@@meade916 that was a straight up hood bird. That turkey didn't play no games
That is straight freaking bad ass man. I wish I could have the 4 channel and the 2 channel. Beautiful bad ass amps bro. Ur lucky as hell. Hook it up to the dyno and see what she does.
I caught that "stop.... drop" steve said right as DMX said it in the background. hahahaha
That's the most beautiful amplifier I've ever seen.
love your work , better than stereo stores & its clean & neat
Man that Rockford 15 hundred was my dream amp
If the meters represented the separation of channels on the sq track that’s dang good! Slamming the positioning to each side quickly and accurate. I want one in my Versa! Ja ja ja ja
D’Admore is a monster keep it coming

I definitely want to see a Dyno and amp guts!!
Only car sound channel that can make a system sound good on a mobile device. I know it’s impossible to make a sub sound good. But the mids and highs come through clear.
Lolol, this end up....
I was expecting to see bench numbers.
Hell of a Christmas gift but Tony is an extraordinary guy.
Now, that's what Icall professional! Rap, Heavy meatal, Rock music or whatever... It sounds proper!!!
Mr. Meade,
I love your reviews on different items. This amp is kickin’. I appreciate your straight forward ‘sound’ advice. Thanks from Ohio.
Best part is the correct use of a dd1+ lol
As always.
Good video man! Very informative for those that haven't seen any of your other videos.

I use Phil Collins. To test sound quality because of the diversity of instrument's
Good old Tony! That is a beautiful amp right there Bruder. Merry Christmas Steve and fam! Xx
When Kay Kay peaked at the 1500.4 amplifier he had that look like “Oh yeah. She’ll look nice in the Yukon.” 😂
throw it on the amp dyno and lets see what it does
Awwsome!!! Love the new toy bud! 😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩
Very nice!!! Amp,guts I'm exoecting to see top notch parts and a neat layout with perfect solder joints

Nice video Steve. Killer amp. I can just imagine how that amp will sound in a vehicle.
Can't wait to have a vehicle worthy of such an Amp.
Currently have an 07 civic all oem , only Dash tweets work.

That's an awesome Christmas. Sweet amp
That white to match the caddy theme
Love the El Paso Chihuahuas baseball team cap. Appreciate the shout out to the EPT. Much love Steve Meads

Soundstream was the shit before they was purchased by the folks who on Hifonics and Power Acoustik
He said hurry up with the Escalade! Marry Christmas.
I use an oscilloscope, but I'm about to buy a DD1+. I'm tired of trying to set people's shit up with them trying to show me how to use my equipment. I think a flashing light is easier for them to understand. Lmao 🤣
post a video of you using your scope. Lets see your technique. :) if you actually do it right i will give you a $25 dollar discount on the dd-1+.
