Is a baroque guitar any different from using a regular guitar (other than the additional strings) because I am seeing the same patterns used on a regular guitar.
Its like a renaissance lute, but guitar shaped (as was for some reason usual in Spain). Its like a classical guitar with the 3rd string tuned to F#, likely a bit smaller, and with double strings - the sound was liked a lot then, and maybe they felt safer having an extra one in case one broke! I am fortunate to have have one (at least a reproduction vihuela).... and wish I could play it as well as Robert Cases.

Kael The Invoker it's a vihuela, a medieval spanish guitar, used before barroque guitar nor classical spanish

Is Viuhela or Spanish baroque guitar. Modern spanish classical guitar is bigger and stronger
This instrument was also tuned higher than guitar.
