I’ve no knitting friends at all here in Calgary, so I very much appreciate the effort you have made to record and provide a place to sit quietly with my knitting. I look forward to your “walks”.

I usually use my phone for patterns these days so backwards and forwards patterns are not for me! I made Kay Jones' My Favourite Blanket during 2023, so now I am making scrappy socks from the leftovers. I guess we’re all bonded together by our love of creating unique things for ourselves, our family and friends. Quite agree about not wanting to tax the brain at this time of year, or much at anytime tbh! 😄 Perhaps you could have pointed out that, thought you pronounced it correctly (Mowsel, as it should be expected), it’s spelled Mousehole incase anyone wanted to look up about the lights. 😄 We traveled down once for them and they truly are lovely. Sorry that you have been treated like this by BT. I think because you are a business, you can claim your lost earnings from BT. I know as a home owner, we got money off our bill. At the very least you should club together with the other local businesses and threaten action. Can you tell my Dad was a solicitor and my husband studied business law, albeit some time ago. Being in the Small business Association is always a good plan too, because they'll give you free advice and fight your corner. Also check your insurance, you may be entitled to free legal advice from them as well. I hope your stocktaking and New Year planning goes well! In the meantime, after you close for Christmas, I hope you have a really good, relaxed time!🌲🎄
We had a power outage for 11hrs but not as long as your's. Shame on BT. SA Power networks paid all the residents in our community $230. Makes it hard when a pattern isnt well written and confusing. I had a similar problem with a paid pattern, as did many others with their comments on Ravelry. So I emailed the designer. Who replied I had no right to contact her as a designer. Well excuse me. Wouldn't you want to know that people might find the pattern difficult to comprehend in order to knit the garment?

Thank you for another lovely episode 😊 The Sophie shawl is lovely; I’m currently knitting one in stash yarn (CamaRose Lamauld) in burnt orange and I’m thinking of knitting another one in similar colours to yours afterwards. I’m so happy that you’re highlighting what Christmas can mean to different people ❤️ For me it’s always a bit painful as I’ve lost both my parents and I’m only in my start 30’s, so I’d love to join you and others for a knit and chat on TH-cam, but I’m not sure if I’m doing the knit along. Is the knit and chat only for people participating in the cowl knit along?

Sorry that you have been treated like this by BT. I think because you are a business, you can claim your lost earnings from BT. I know as a home owner, we got money off our bill. At the very least you should club together with the other local businesses and threaten action. Can you tell my Dad was a solicitor and my husband studied business law, albeit some time ago. Being in the Small business Association is always a good plan too, because they'll give you free advice and fight your corner. Also check your insurance, you may be entitled to free legal advice from them as well. I hope your stocktaking and New Year planning goes well! In the meantime, after you close for Christmas, I hope you have a really good, relaxed time!🌲🎄

We had a power outage for 11hrs but not as long as your's. Shame on BT. SA Power networks paid all the residents in our community $230. Makes it hard when a pattern isnt well written and confusing. I had a similar problem with a paid pattern, as did many others with their comments on Ravelry. So I emailed the designer. Who replied I had no right to contact her as a designer. Well excuse me. Wouldn't you want to know that people might find the pattern difficult to comprehend in order to knit the garment?
Yes I certainly would as if 1 person finds it difficult I am sure others will too. We got a fat zero from BT for our outage 😏
