Roman 1: 28-31. Jesus finds homosexuality as repulsive and wicked. Not only repent but turn away from your old ways. This means separating yourself from people who embrace this lifestyle. Be equally yoked with other Christians who have a relationship with Christ.
I am heartbroken for the members of the congregation who will hate themselves even more after hearing this. How can one claim God’s love and then preach these things?
I am heart broken that many people do not read or understand what the bible clearly explains..

No you can’t! God laid out that it is a sin. God is pure and Holy and Just. To be a Christian is to be a follower of Christ. To repent is turn away from sin.
The innate capacity to love someone of the same sex-emotionally, physically, spiritually, etc.-should not be reduced to sex/lust, adultery, or alcoholism. It’s literal and reductionist interpretations of God’s will, such as this, that tragically miss the mark. What a bigoted and hurtful message of homophobia.
Your interpretation of scripture is false and harmful to people. When are you as a church going to examine the fruit of your false doctrine, humble yourself, and set aside your pride?
