Cheers mate. I shall switch the bearings out at some point and add a couple of magnets to hopefully make it a better reel. I think the platform is decent so hopefully they will make a MK2

I love my VE2 now, once I accepted it wouldn’t cast below a gram, it’s one of the best general purpose reels and very difficult to frap up. It’s really not that bad. I just have to compare it to other better reels. It does a decent job of most things. I’m sure once you get it dialled in you will love it. I’m actually going to swap bearings on mine at some point.
