CORRECTIONS: 🚨In the action of financing you take a $1 card from the deck, without knowing the card. 🚨Profit sharing tile bonuses can only be used 1 time during the game, only ONE can be used per turn.
Great tutorial. I read the manual but this really helped hammer home how the systems connect. Tried to watch the tutorial video provided by the company but he was droning on with the length nearly an hour. You nailed everything in nearly 13 minutes - much appreciated!
Thank you for the kind words! Really appreciate you saying so. Hope you're able to enjoy the game, we certainly would love to hear about your experience if you play!
At 10:48, you describe short and long term 'Contracts' -- the correct term from the rule book is Objectives. Contracts are personal, objectives are shared.
Very clear video ! Looks crunchy and fun but it seems a little bit too dry to my taste. Buying shares and drilling to produce lithium is not really a theme that I would gravitate towards.
Honestly can’t blame you there. I did enjoy the preamble in the rulebook , it was quite educational and brought a little bit of flavour into the game play. Thank you for watching!
Fantastic explanation! Just a correction, in the action of financing you take a $1 card from the deck, without knowing the card. Additionally, bonuses can only be used 1 time during the game. Congratulations on the video and I hope you enjoy it 😊😊😊
@@ocnah We’re on vacation at the moment but I’ll get back to you as soon as we’re back next week. From my memory I assume it’s any of the cards in the display ?
@@kovray have a nice holiday! i don't know if it is the same as the infinite $1 space where you take from the deck, or take a faceup card from the market or the top card of the discard pile?
@kovray What they say on page 3 of the rulebook vs what actually happened is such a massive difference. They mention an accident, not that the mass of carcasses required them to run incinerators for 24 hours a day for weeks, or that folks in the region have a much higher chance of asthma, 20%, compared to a national average of less than 10%, or that the schools use flags to let the kids know if it's safe to play outside.
@@kovray The mechanics behind the game seemed really interesting, but I couldn't get over it. Especially with it potentially happening again in Utah with the great Salt Lake.
@@Johan_g No, it bothered me too, our microphone for some reason picked up A LOT of background noise so I tried using the denoise feature but it made the vocals sound weird, so our apologies there

Great explanation, everything is clear and ready to play ;D Thank you !
Amazing! Thank you for watching and for the support.
Nice, clean tutorial! I’m glad a search for this game led me to your channel
Ah this makes us so happy! Thank you for being here

Good catch! Thank you.

Ooo thank you for the corrections, I’ll add those to the description!
The game looks extremely diverse
It’s quite unique that’s for sure.
Magnifique.
Thank you so much!
Have any questions? We'd be happy to help!
Where do you draw a money card from when you get money from an action card?

This looks shiny. I'm guessing it's going straight to retail?
It does! I believe within a week or so !
Hello good! What size sleeve do the cards have?
Oooo that’s a great question! Let me see if I can find the answer for you.
Hello good!
@@elqord.1118 I couldn’t find the answer :(
You can find the answer on BGG. Find the game there then click on ‘sleeve it’s. It will show you you need 44x68 and 214 of them
I think you missed the market liquidity rule that states you can't draw from the decks if the market runs out of money
I'll take a look! Thank you for the catch!
Seems cool, but the actual Salton Sea disaster really makes the theme uncomfortable for me.
Super valid. They did a thorough job explaining the background in the rulebook but of course I’m not as familiar with the real area.

@@AsherGrave That’s terrible. We’ll have to read more and get more educated. Thank you for sharing your insights.

Every time you start speaking, the sound goes up and it feels like an nail in my ears. Also, when you point at things your sound gets muffled.
Sorry about that! Had some issues with this one I saw but should be fixed moving forward.
@@kovray No problems, I was a bit cranky when I wrote my comment. So sorry about that.
