I just took delivery of my 2023 GV70 two days ago...this car is extremely well put together and designed to every little detail inside and out. Genesis pulled out all the stops for it and it shows.
I've watched several vehicle production videos over the years, and now I finally get to see mine being created. Although this is the electrified version, it shares the same body of the combustion model.
Just picked up my 2024 2.5t GV70. It's gas version with the same chassis and interior. It was assembled in Alabama plant with mostly parts from Korea. Really awesome car.
Fantastic to watch but really wanted to see the gas-powered version and how they got the engine inside the hood and connected it all. Where is this plant? Looks like it's in the US.
The electrified GV70 is produced at Hyundai's Montgomery, Alabama plant. It’s the first model from Hyundai’s luxury division assembled in the U.S. and outside of South Korea.

did you pay above MSRP or how was the market when buying it?
@@keska01just bought mine. Dealerships currently offering $3000 discount along with smaller discounts through end of this month.
The amount of effort and inspection that goes into body panel assembly is amazing. Hats off to the staff and the leaders.

So relaxing to look at these robots 😎
Thanks so much ☺️ 🙏
This is both amazing and terrifying. Lol I hope the robots were having a good day when they built mine.

The US models of the GV70 electrified are built in the US -- a first for Genesis
what is the county it's made in, US? I thought it's made only in Korea.

Imagine what a line worker in a car assembly plant in 1924 would of thought of robots doing all this work.
This is South Korea? Looks more like the southern US. Great video Didn't know the EV was assembled in the US. Huh.
the electric version is.
I think the South Koreans are going to eat Honda and Toyotas lunch soon.
Hai👋✌antonmursid🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💞💝💖
Hell no, Im never buying a Genesis built in the USA, only one from Korea🙌🏻

Well, how many humans work in this facility? 50, 75? Really, this is how they keep price so competitive and still make huge profit!
Would not trust this Alabama workforce for obvious reasons.
