Yay! You are the only other person I've seen that has worked out that the oil lamp will work with only a tiny flame, so when You get up in the dark You can just turn the lamp back up ; - )
There is actually an alcohol burner for this “snuskburk”, “filth can”. I have never used it with firewood. But thats nice to know that it works. Mostly in the field we used it as “plates”. They served us food to eat in our can. Or we heated canned food.
i'de like to ask, which pouch you'Re using for your messkit? I've got the same MEsskit as you have and i've been looking after a pouch for so long. Thank you
I was thinking, why don’t you just pre-cut everything before yo set out? By the end I realise most of the fun is had by preparing it outside! My bad..😊!
Hi, love seeing the Swedish mess kits used. The M39 (introduced in 1939) is actually the rucksack (known as the “moose sack”) that the Swedes used before bringing in the pack many people know as the LK35 (the 35 in this instance refers to its capacity in litres). Your aluminium mess kit was known as the M44, it was introduces in 1944, the earlier stainless steel version, introduced in 1940, was known as the M40. Interesting recipe, I’ve never seen chicken dried like that, I’ll have to try to find some, perfect for camping because it won’t go off. Do you use a Turkish blend of coffee in your pot or just finely ground everyday coffee? I have one of those but never thought to use it outside like that. Best of luck with your country! I would love to travel there one day when you have peace again.🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
Thanks, very interesting information. I will now know. I drink ground coffee. Sorry for not answering right away. I will be glad if you decide to come to us!
In 1986 we still used the moose sack parallel with the newer backpack. The mess kits are still in use I guess. The stainless steel version is practically indestructible.
You got it backwards I have 2 M-40 kits and You should’ve grilled the onions in the pot Then the boiling soup would’ve loosened up anything burned on the bottom of the pot and clean up would’ve been easier
Hello, can you please tell me if your mil tec molle pouch ,for your m39 mess kit, is the large one (3.3lt) or the medium size (1.8lt).Thanks.Also you are right, silence has it's own unique power..
Greetings! Sorry for not replying right away. The kettle itself is 1.2 liters. We sew a pouch just for such a bowler hat. I'm glad that you understood me about the name of the channel. Tired of the hustle and bustle.
Had to watch this video again you showed a new way to use the swedish mess kit and how you cook your meal but the coffee was something I never seen before. After you made the coffee and poured it into the cup was it with the grains or did you remove or filter it really did enjoyed your video hope to see one of them thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching! Since I did not take a filter with me, the grains remained at the bottom in a Turk and a little in a mug. I hope the war ends soon and I can shoot videos again.
I hope so to I was wondering what type of pouch did you use for your mess kit. Thanks for replying and your video im watching it again thanks for sharing

if they were made from stainless steel it would be my kit !
The M40 is in stainless steel. The one he is using is the M44 aluminium one. I have one of each!

Віть, а чому не Українською? :)
Наверное потому что у тебя Ютюб настроен на русский язык. У меня вообще канал полностью на английском + переводы на разные языки.
