Thanks for watching and your comments. We got some in ACU for $6 each a few months ago and they are very good too, but like the S10 gas mask bag and the newer field pack more for carrying the PFM40 and other stuff as it has the straps to be a haversack.
@@suriyaprom74 thank you for watching and your comments, that's a great idea using them as packing cubes inside luggage, we are going to use that idea!!!
Nice video thanks. I use some Swiss army Double rubberized pouches. I separated them. And the Whole cookset fits perfectly. Theres loops also. So you can carry on a belt or attach to your pack.👌👍
We bought Dave Canterbury's Pathfinder PFM40 modern 304 stainless steel version of the hard-to-find Swedish M40 mess kit, and it teams up perfectly with either the British S10 gas mask bag or, as we see here, the British field pack. There is room for everything inside for cooking including the Trangia alcohol fuel bottle, cutlery, spices and rations. It packs compact enough to always have with you travelling by car, motorcycle or camping as well as for emergencies such as hurricanes and prolonged power outages.
Travelling and cooking with the Pathfinder PFM40 Swedish Mess Kit.
The US Army sustainment pouch is also excellent to build a cook kit around. They are easy to find and inexpensive. It’s what I use with my PMF40.
True, but flimsy material.

I use the US sustainment pouches as packing cubes, great for organising suitcases and luggage and just label each pack with painters tape😊

Thanks for watching! We will look out for those pouches too as they sound good for the rainy season here. Are they available on eBay do you think?

That’s a great set up!
That retort pouch Japanese beef stew is awesome stuff...
It is delicious and like an MRE lasts years without refrigeration.
