Lol, with a 4K a year a meal plan you'd eat 10 times better then this. This is food court quality.
@@blackaria2011 That’s what I was thinking.. I went to a two year college and the food was prepared by culinary students and trained chefs. Meal plans were a fraction of the cost and the food was just as good as this. I’m not saying it was anything ✨ special ✨ but I don’t see what she’s eating as anything over the top.

@@chesca7295 free ride is just another way of saying full ride scholarship meaning all your costs are paid for by the school due to academic achievements or financial need.
I go to a commuter urban college whose dining hall serve some meager food. Some alternatives would be the various food trucks parked around campus, vending machines serving snacks (some even have healthy options like sandwhiches), and stop/shop snack areas. The last time I visited a big university was Ohio State, and the food offered there was delicious and campus was HUGE.

yale has a thing where they meet all demonstrated need for all students, so as far as i can tell most students wouldn’t have student loans
Most students get aid depending on their household income. For example, if your family earns less than $30,000 per year, you will 100% get financial aid which will lower the cost of college per year to $6,000. Yale offers financial aid to almost every student, chance to get aid is lowered if your family earns a lot of money per year
I paid 1400 my freshman year bc my parents made 55k the year before
