When installing the plugs, be sure to turn them counterclockwise first until they "seat". Once they get seated, turn them clockwise. This will avoid cross-threading them. Great video - have to do my car.
I have a 2008 M35 with 114,000 miles, runs like a top- in great shape overall, but my gas mileage is absolute crap right now, probably 10-12mpg. I'm going to change out the spark plugs this weekend, so thank you for this video. Just wondering if your mileage improved after changing out these spark plugs (I realize this was a year ago). I have already changed out the air filter, and am hoping that the spark plugs are the problem. This car has always been kind of a gas guzzler, but it's just ridiculous right now. I have a minivan that is getting better gas mileage!
@@yeryer3779 Not in the least. UGH. So frustrating. I'm at a loss. I'm not throwing any codes, I have new brakes, new tires, had one of the calipers replaced even... I don't know what else to do. But the gas mileage is killing me!

Did not really help. All the time camera was too close. No idea which plug is at what location.
