Westmalle have my favorite of all chalice, I have both the 17cl and 33cl version. I drink all my Belgium beers from the 17cl version, which is apparently 5.75 oz, it forces you to take your time.
Sooo goood! It’s one of our favorites now too. And yes, fantastic point. All westmalle beers are bottle conditioned, which contributes to that “mature flavour” as they describe it.

It’s so true that the right chalice almost forces you to really take your time with the beer and savour it.

I know right? Goes to show how vast the beer world is. They’re also not very available in Canada where I am, you have to really seek them out.

I rate Strafe-Hendrick triple as high as Westmalle, maybe a bit better (photo finish). Westmalle is fantastic.
