I’ve always had a huge crush ❤️❤️❤️on Debra Winger. She’s so down to earth. There’s something about this lovely lady. Thanks for sharing this video way back when.
Here is a man speaking, Claudia is my wife. I was totally in love with this woman in the 80's. She looks absolutely gorgeous in this interview. Time is a big drug, with everything ends, with the beauty of women, it ends with our health and in the end we end ourselves. Debra was immortalized in the film with Richard Gere. An Officer and a Gentleman, with an ending that touched every heart. How much I miss this time! I'm a Brazilian, resident of Rio de Janeiro - and I saw this unforgettable movie in the cinema back in the years 1982/83. A time when we still had quality cinema in the world.
From the stories we've probably all heard by now, Debra may or may not be difficult to work with, but one thing's for sure: In this format, she's so delightful, personable, lovely, intelligent, and of course talented! Love her!
she was on Kajillionaire as a lady in late middle age. those striking looks of her's are long gone, but her very presence reminded me of her owning showbusiness during the 80s with films like Terms of Endearment etc
I happened to catch that movie by accident when my girlfriend was looking for something to watch. I guess we saw 90% of that movie. _Half_ of my time watching that movie was spent drawing the mental contrasts between the '80s Debra Winger and the Debra Winger in the movie. The other half was spent trying to wrap my mind around the name "Old Dolio". I've been a Debra Winger admirer from way back. By coincidence my late-fiancée was a 'ringer' for the lady; the '80s and '90s actress. I saw my sweetheart cleaning out her garage one Saturday morning. She was wearing a baseball cap, baseball shirt and a pair of jeans and in the moment when I saw her the resemblance struck me.
Besides Johnny, I grew-up on Letterman and miss him. I never thought much of Debra Winger as a leading lady. I always thought her to be raunchy kinda-girl. Yet, she starred in some major pictures.
This is the second mention of Gary Muledeer ive seen on Late Night. I believe the other mention was with Larry Miller. In the Miller segment Muledeer was being used as the butt of a joke. Here Dave says he's one of the best. I think I have to go with the latter because Dave famously panders to nothing and no one. I have a strong feeling that Debra was trying to set up a date with Dave here. I mean she was in the process of breaking up with Timothy Hutton and Dave was single. Who knows.
@@jimmycampbell78 Married to Tim Hutton back then. She picked memorable scripts and did great work. It's nice if actors live up to our expectations away from film set but the main thing is the work.

What do you mean by "time is a big drug?" I'm sorry, I suspect we have a slight language barrier here.
@@jmd26 a big crap I meant. In Portuguese, drug means crap.
@Claudia Papini Ayala ohhh ok. Makes sense. Thank you for clarifying

She's "difficult" because she's smart and takes no shit. Also why she was so great with Shirley Maclaine. They're both bare knuckle gals.
I remember taping this and watching the next day. She's great, enough said.
I can’t believe it’s 34 years ago!!!! WOW!!!!!
Great actress. Loved Officer and a Gentleman, to Mike's Murder, to Legal Eagles. Talented woman. A legend of the 80's.
Don't forget Terms of Endearment.
She is one of the sexiest, cutest woman of the showbiz!
A pervert would say it and like
@@MrSecoBaba And you are an idiot!
Hahahaha, it’s a dude....
@Danger Manilla Very sexy Adam's apple! 😁👍
If this was Debra Winger's first talk-show experience, she did pretty well!
How can any of us forget her amazing role in that unforgettable movie “Everybody Win’s”!!!!.....🤣😂🤣😂
I love her so much 💗

I find her deep voice intriguing!
I liked her with Travolta in "Urban Cowboy"...
What a cutie. Tremendous actress as well!
Amazing for a first time!
Loved her in terms of endearment and officer and a gentlemen
She was underrated in Officer and a Gentleman. Nailed the sensitive role.
And Black Widow
She was the voice of E.T.!
I do like her acting. She was good. Loved her in the Black Widow… excellent.
Love how Paul played "Little Wing" as she came out. ;~)
Perfect.
The best song.
I don't understand the connection?
@@foleynj86 Just a play on her name.
@@GeneBurnett Yes! Now I see the connection lol
found debra even more beautiful after the interview
Yes, she is not smooth for sure (clearly cynical) but she's very smart and aware of a lot of things in the business. This can explain that...
I love sheltered sky, directed by bernardo bertolucci, with debta winger and John malkovich. So much.
Debra.sorry.
I forgot how delightful she was.
Not funny

She is way too much woman for me. I'd be toast. But what a humorous, beautiful, intelligent RIOT!
BUENA ACTRIZ. MUY ESPONTÁNEA EN SU ACTUACIÓN. SU MIRADA ES UNICA. BELLA MUJER. FELICIDADES DEBRA.
She has a sean young thing going on
Good observation. But way better than Sean Young
@@mjp96 Yes
They are both from cleveland heights ohio.
She's the older one though
Nice of her to bring a gift for Dave lol
I always wanted her as my girlfriend, even today 2021
I’m so with you on this. I’d be putty in her hand.❤❤❤❤
Debra ❤and Richard ❤ officer and a gentleman😊
What eyes...
Very beautiful lady ❤😍😘♥💕
Oh my god she didnt even stopped once that he finishes his talk
Dave looks like Einstein
It is funny to see Debra Winger tried to mother David Letterman by giving him a grow your hair package.
She's the best, end of story.
❤️
I love you Sissy
Wow , women ahead of her times
The flirting tension was palpable here
I bet Debra had Arliss wrapped around her finger with that terrific laugh of hers.....
Ultimate guest
Wonder girl is all grown up.
Looks like Dave had his hair styled like hers
That's what l was thinking! 😂
Actually Debra Wagner is quite funny. She is Great. Lovely gal
Big fan. She somewhat resembles the actress Sean Young.
Sean Young much more polished actress, liked her in “Cousins”

finnibert lunchiken and Paul plays Let’s Spend The Night Together as they go to break lol
I'm here because I just saw a clip of her and GaryMD on TATTLETALES!
wowee, wondered if it was ok to say virgin on tv in 1990
Hmmm … can see how her bad rap proceeds her! Many comments could be offensive!
In all her interviews I've seen she's paranoid and negative
She was a cocaine addict in the 1980s.

@@peterwieser4631 Perfectly stated.
Nah, she's just honest and that's her sense of humor. If you don't like it, fine
arò vai lok.......
She is so negative. She is not easy.
Negative? I just don't see it. Maybe you don't get her sense of humor.
Big narracist
A what?
