"Dancing with Shiva"/"Here Today" was eventually titled "Rachel Getting Married," where she played Anne Hathaway's mom. She didn't have that much screen time, but she's who I remember most from that film - she was fantastic.

A woman who knows herself and her limits and won’t tolerate bully’s like former film director : Weinstein and his lackey producers and directors. And that’s probably why she’s not liked by them. Debra Winger doesn't play the Hollywood game. You could say she has integrity and speaks her mind. Maybe she's a bit too blunt at times. But isn't it refreshing to see an actor/actress who doesn't put on a fake smile and pretend every film they're in is wonderful and everyone they work with is great?

Btw, accomplished or not, your product still has to generate revenue in order to justify making another (new) product. Big Bad Love was a total flop ... Arliss Howard is a better actor with less celebrity status.
Steve Goldstein White males are given so many chances to make their careers happen. Male actors usually get their best roles in their 40s. Females usually get their best roles in their 20s. In their 30s female actors then get typcast in mom roles. Hollywood structurally is run by white males.They are the ones greenlighting films and its generally films from their world experience.
