The gray coloration is lead from the leaded gas that used to be available. I found that in my '69 Dart engine also. More prevalent when the carb was running rich.

Get more gas ! Hook up an electric pump or put more in the carburetor ! Don't be afraid of it ! It needs gas !

grab another carburerator or put a kit in that one . pour a little more fuel down the throat. it needs a little more fuel its only a 2 barrel on a 350 bet it starts right up .

guaranteed the exhaust pipe is plugged with critter nest it’s been since the 80’s

we checked for that in part 3, it was puffing out the tailpipe so i think its free enough...

i did loosen he distributor and tried moving it around, but it seemed happiest where it was...
Check the timing chain it may be worn out
