His only flaws were a habit of dipping his head down after some exchanges, which caused him to eat some kicks, occasional punches, and knees *(Cody, Cejudo, and TJ)* and maybe his admitted bad diet and overtraining which caused him to get hurt.
I still think Demetrious is the best Bantamweight despite his loss to Dom. Dom had no answer for Demet, but quickly realised that his height advantage made it easy for him to take him down

It's just as impressive as Ali coming off his layoff to beat George Foreman. Cruz is a legend for those who know how to watch the sport.
