We day-tripped to the all inclusive Sunset Marina Resort & Yacht Club, which is nestled on the tranquil bayside of Cancun, and it was absolutely gorgeous. This resort has a Mediterranean theme, a giant pool complete with swim-up bar, multiple restaurants and bars, and some major relax vibes. This is one of the Sunset World resorts, which means if you are staying at one property you can go to the sister resorts and enjoy all the amenities. Hi, guys! I’m from the Philippines. It’s great to see your sunset resorts vlogs. I also watched your sunset royal vlog, by the way. I just wanted to ask if you’ve visited Laguna Suites and Ocean Spa since they’re also affiliated with Sunset.
We are so happy you enjoyed them! The Sunset Royal actually offered us an opportunity to go to the Lagunamar Suites for a day trip as long as we attended a sales presentation. But we were traveling with a baby and were 100 percent sure that our daughter would not have been able to sit through that presentation so never went. We heard great things about those properties though and plan on doing them when we return. Thank you again for reaching out!
Hello! We're trying to decide on either the Sunset Royal OR Marina for a family trip. Do you know if you can access the Sunset Royal if you stay at the Marina? We don't necessarily need to stay on the beach, but we would like to pop over and visit for the day (similar to what you did, but in reverse). Not sure if they allow Sunset Marina guests to also visit the sister property.
Greetings! When we were there they allowed guests to hop freely from each resort. Our all inclusive access worked at both properties so we were able to eat at the Marina resort even though we stayed at the Sunset. They have a small boat that carts guests to both hotels, and they also have a bus with regularly scheduled times throughout the day. So you should have no problem accessing both properties during your stay. You can always contact the hotel just to be sure, but that was how it worked for us last year. Hope that helps!
