The GP40 engines are my favourite because they were originally built for the New Jersey Central Railroad back in the 1960s to replace their Fairbanks Morse Trainmasters and Baldwin double cab Baby face engines To this day one of them has been repainted to its original livery as a heritage unit

The GP 40's, 40-2's, and the GP 50's are still working hard out west too. A very dependable EMD design locomotive. I see GP-60's and the 60-B's still on mainline service too.

Indeed - those GP40's are still workhorses today. EMD did a credible job in design and manufacturing :) I am curious about the two car commuters, they look to be electric, but the rails don't appear to be electrified.
