Doubters are eatin' good since NL embraced bacta strats. Well, kinda bacta strats, the kind where you ignore cans and roll past dromedaries.
And keeping is best unit backrow so his trades are awful and he loses every game.
also ignore any economy food animals like squirrel or sauropod
There was some speedy and anxious playing going on here though. He is different in his videos that were not performed in front of a live twitch audience.

I think you need to leave the beetles alone and double or triple down on the dromedary for the bacta strat. Spending too much on food for a lack luster beetle making imitation crabs in the bacta tank.
NL is just HP-over-damage pilled.

yeah idk for the beetle strat to work, he needs to get a lvl 2 beetle round 2 and go for a dromedary right away, then get 2 more dromedarys in the next turn and then freeze the entire shop, and feed the beetle until lethal, then switch in a whole ass team. I used to do that all the time and get wins lol.
Under utilized strat is that each dromedary gives +1/+1 per turn. I've run 4 dromedaries on my squad and been raking in that +4/+4 per turn per unit. Don't combine them, they work better separate AND sell for more

you cant go bacta strats but then not take cans. nl is spending 3g to give food to a beatle to give current units +1 hp instead of spending 3g to give all current and future units +2 attack and +1 hp. wtf.

@@hilug3952 A bacta tank is a Star Wars thingy which the bad guys use to artificially heal their soldiers. I think Darth Vader might also be vibing in one when he's not wearing his armour but don't quote me on that.
@@hilug3952 In SAP it means that he has an animal like a dromedary or beetle that makes animals in the shops stronger. You do that until they're strong then put them on the battlefield.

all he has to do is put green beetle in the front after it becomes his strongest unit and he should start winning
I previously commented this. Play an early beetle and bluebird. Freeze a beetle, feed the existing beetle, scale the shop beetle, and keep your attack scaling with your existing beetle and bluebird. Not you have a 2 34 beetle in the shop, and a 25 11 beetle on the field. Combine for a bacta tank with some spice!

Bacta strats values like an x^3 graph. They're a cubic function that's great then sucks but if believe long enough it's actually good again.
I think the strat will work if you bacta something that you already have and put to the right with blue birds, so when you buy it, you combine it with the one that has been buffed by the birds.
The strat would work if this man honestly just took a can. I have no clue why he is racist towards them.

Have you tried bacta on a unit you already own, and then buff the defense of the shop pet and the attack of the owned pet, maybe with a bluebird? Sorry if that doesnt make sense

I’d have to imagine that there’s a way to do this right? It just can’t be forced very hard. Like, get an early level up and the unit is worth investing in. Dromedary early too. Wait until there’s a couple units to buff here and there. It’ll be cool when it does pop. I kinda thing a blowfish in the tank would be nice.

Does he realise that overwriting the beetle's effect to buff a frozen unit is costing 3 gold for +1 health? Worse than an apple, much worse than a can, just terrible.
It's not 3 gold for +1 health. It's 3 gold for +1 health plus the effect of whatever food you buy.
It's still crap, don't get me wrong, but you can't discount the fact that the beetle you're feeding gets some scaling too.
You can bacta more than 1 unit as well. The effect gets better the more you have frozen.
Overall, it's bad value. Dromedary is a better bacta unit.
@@Michael-sh1fb that's why I specified overwriting an effect specifically. I agree that ordinarily it's bad value, but specifically if he replaced e.g. honey with meat, you lose the 1 1 bee to gain 5 attack which is probably a neutral to bad trade for the last unit, and then you get the 1 health for 3 gold which is also awful.
Most of the time he doesn't have more than one frozen, plus the frozen units have unrealised gains; often those stats never make it to the team as something better comes up.

Bacta Blowfish please, it's the "Stop hitting yourself" build we all need. Alternatively, as others suggested bacta a second copy of a creature being buffed by Bluebird so that when combined you get the health and attack.

I have been thinking about bacta for a long time, you might try a blue bird at the back to scale attack and bacta a blue bird so after a few turns it’s attack will be juiced then squeeze with the bactca blue bird that has hp.

Hey NL, you should do the “Sworn Oath” challenge (I just made it up myself). The challenge is that once you win a round and an animal has equipment on it, you cannot sell that animal or pill it for the rest of the game! If you want to add a little more difficulty you can make it so that you have to keep the same equipment on that animal is well. It’s themed around you having a sworn oath with the animals that have equipment!

Multiple times in the past, he's said it's "a little late" for units on the very first turn that it's possible to see them, after getting them as a reward for leveling up an animal.
Egg doesn't know what late is. He will happily carry a lvl 1 hatching chick into round 14.

You know it's not against the rules to freeze two or even three things at once right? Like when you were GONNA freeze swan but went with owl instead you could've done BOTH and had TWO good backta units. Also the extra hp would be fire on a blowfish but it's invisible to you.

I managed to get 10 wins with a green beetle bacta start. I won, like, 8 or 9 rounds in a row after I pivoted to a Bison Butterfly Microbe build that was way ahead of the power curve because of the bacta

If you get a scorpion to over 20 attack it breaks melon armor and oneshots everything
Well, everything except gorilla with coconut armor technically, but gorilla doesn't show up much.
Scorp with a 1-up does mostly the same thing and is usually easier to get.

Play full round, basically a mix of this, and Binding of Isaac.
NL, you’re not alone in losing every round now, the community has gotten insane. I pretty consistently get to 6/7 wins and then get smashed three times in a row.. these people are scaling out of the stratosphere.
