3 Questions. 1. What do you want to accomplish? 2. Will it build up or tear down. 3. Will it bless you or bless them? This was so powerful.. Thank you 🙏🙏
I heard a pastor say, telling the truth in an unloving way is sinful. He got in my business from the pulpit and told me( at least I felt like he was talking to me) to think about whether I was serving myself with my words or if I had an ulterior motive. But, of course, some truths don't need to be shared. We don't have to tell everyone about themselves. Sometimes being a mature Christian means forgiving and not bringing up the situation again. I learned that the hard way.
Thank you so much for this. As I listened, quickly thinking of how mindful I am when it comes to my words, believing scripture, the Holy Spirit immediately brought to my remembrance how short I have been with “solicitors that call my phone, never once seeing them as human beings” I wept!!! Confessed and asked our Holy Father for forgiveness. I am so grateful for the gift of the person, GOD the Holy Spirit that points out areas of “self-deception” May we all be sensitive to hear, receive and act on GOD’s truth through the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen🙏
Thank you Chrystal. Thanking you for reminding me that with my words I can create or tear down and most importantly the words I say to myself about myself. ❤
This is probably one of the hardest lessons for most women in their spiritual maturity walk, but one of the most rewarding. If you can't pray it, don't say it❣️ Thank you for all the useful scriptures 😇🥰
I love this so much beloved Crystal. Very helpful and powerful. I am really praying to get victory in my speech/words once and for all. I long to be able to bridle this tongue and spare my words. You nailed this and I thank the Lord for speaking life into us through you blessing and encouraging us to be more equipped & ready to use our words for good and blessings to others and ourself with what we are speaking to ourselves. I love what you shared about your mother. That was powerful. That really ministered to my heart too. How wonderful you had such a godly mother that spoke life to you and your siblings, your father and all your children. This scripture has really gripped me the past few days and praying it for us all. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say. - 1 Thessalonians 2:16 O Yes Dear LORD let it be for Your church. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. - Colossians 3:17 A wise woman builds her house but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands. - Proverbs 14:1 All for Your glory, O Thou Most High God. "... but by My Spirit," says the LORD of host. Many blessings Crystal !
Two of my favorite scriptures: A soft answer turns away wrath: Proverbs 15:1 KJV. A fool uttereth all his mind, but a wise man keepeth it till afterwards. Proverbs 29:11 KJV.
Man, I needed this word on 3/4/22 because on 3/5/22 I approached a situation in a way I'm not proud of. Thank you for the practical tools I can implement in the future.
You’re not alone. I did the same thing and I’ve repent of it. I felt so bad that allowed a situation get me out of my character. Sending you love 💕 we will do better.
I had a friend for decades that I was always present hands on when we were growing our children. Older and we only had phone conversations. I mostly listened and allowed her to talk.. basically a narcissist relationship (my fault for allowing that)! My mother was in her last stages in a hospital and I would call my friend from my mom's bedside still allow my friend to continue her Me talk and ocassionally I shared about my feelings. Never to my friend suggest coming to see my mom, sit with me etc. The day that my BELOVED mom passed I almost missed seeing her bc I was listening to friend talk before I left to remain with Mom. Long story short she is a nice person but I continued and she continued her Me ways and I continued accepting until I told her the other day how I felt about her lack with my mom and 2 other situations with an emergency with my family. I told her how I felt but I did say she was "nice" but too me focused and that we only had memories and cannot go forward that way. Basically, I no longer wanted a friend ship with her ,but desired the best for her and her family. After listening to Crystal I have to allow the Holy Spirit to talk to me as to how I could have better handle it. Sorry Lord!
Crystal thank you for sharing that very intimate vulnerable moment when your mom gave you that timely precious wisdom about your words. . I was literally picturing her as I heard you speak.🙏🏾💕
I have been working on my mouth intentionally since Aug/Sept 2021. Especially with my husband and kids💛 I keep a rubber band on my wrist, to snap me out of it …
Thank you for this... I have been in a season for years where I didn't speak upfor myself enough. Now I'm coming out of that and really advocating for myself and others. I'm thankful for this video reminder, that even as I grow and find my voice, to be mindful of what I say. I pray that my words will build up and be a blessing. 🙏
Thank you Chrystal Evans Hurst for your timely reminder of the words that comes out of our mouths what it can accomplished either life or death. May we choose words to build up, encourage and bless others. Your simplicity and soft spoken demeanour captivates your audiences attention and with the help of the Holy Spirit at work ,changes can happen in peoples lives. You are doing a phenomenal job. 🇨🇦
Hi Chrystal this is my first time listening to you. Your Message Was On Time, I Struggle in this area, Thank You For The Insight ,And Sharing, cause this will help me to change. God Bless You My Sister 🙏♥️Debbie
This was soooo right on time! Me & a friend are reading "Be Mature". It is on the book of James, from Warren W. Wiersbe's "Be" series. I was just saying that, for me, being mature means everything that comes into my head shouldn't come out of my mouth & I need wisdom of HOW to say what does come out of my mouth. Thanks Chrystal, this was amazing!!
Wow this was a incredible message it's such true statement because I know I'm my own personal life had said things without thinking. I'm asking God help me to do better with my words because I definitely don't want to destroy no one life of something I said rather out of anger or fear Thanks minister Chrystal Evans I really enjoy your teaching God bless you and your family.
