I was in a horrible marriage! Abusive both physical and emotional. She literally tortured me for years! She was a narcissistic monster! Even after we had three children together she’d beat me and abuse me whenever she felt threatened with me showing any kind of independence. Her family saw it and she show tears and they’d support her. They made me the monster and I so wasn’t. It took the police and our 6 year old daughter calling the police when she had sat on me until I was unconscious that they realized I was telling the truth. I was put into a shelter and found help. I got my children as well. Men being abused is a real thing 😢

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I've seen women be abusive to men and it's not right. Just because you're a man doesn't mean you shouldn't be believed. I'm glad you have your kids ( I think that's what your comment said). I hope you're safe now.

@@SoundsBogus yeah that does sound bogus. Females have the power of persuasion. I spent a year in a dangerous county jail fighting a case because a woman said I attacked her after she attacked me. They didn't give me a second to explain just back of the cop car i went followed by the most angry and biased interrogation I've ever seen. I can't even sue her because despite being released because of dropped charges, the protective order still stands

As a woman, im glad the cops take these men serious. It takes a lot for a man to admit he was beat on by a woman and used to be he still went to jail as the aggressor bc "hes bigger/stronger/ect." Men can be victims too of DV and SA. Love that they were listened to and the cops werent manipulated by the women in these cases.

The police are definitely getting better with that but the courts sadly are not. My ex wife used to hit me all of the time. The cops even showed up but I couldn’t get myself to tell the police that she was constantly hitting me, scratching me, throwing things at me, etc. but I just couldn’t do it especially when my daughter cried and said she didn’t want Mama to go to jail.
She was also a makeup artist for broadway plays, turns out one night she made a fake black eye and took pics, sent it to some girl who was in love with her who posted it all over social media.
She even crashed our car on purpose screaming she was going to kill us, we flipped 3 times. Even after all of that I didn’t want to divorce and thought we could work it out for my daughter.
Then one day I’m sitting in my living room and the cops show up and serve me a restraining order, made me leave my house.
I produced videos and pics of her attacking me and threatening to burn our house down but the judge still put the restraining order on me & kept it going for like a year.
After that I lost what little faith I had in the justice system. The judge was some angry woman who to me seemed like she just loves screwing men over.
If I could sue I would. But that was years ago now so I’m just happy it’s over with. I went through hell for a whole year because of it.
Her one redeeming quality was that she did tell the court that I’m a great father which is true but I also think it was just because she wanted her weekends free. Total narcissist.
I haven’t been able to get into any meaningful relationships since out of fear I’ll have to go through that hell again. I date women but don’t allow myself to get close. So I guess you could call that ptsd.
Even my lawyer was disgusted with the judge who didn’t even allow her to do her job. It was one of the worst experiences of my life.

@@pinnacleproductions6275 I've been divorced for ten years now. I had my own issues in marriage as well. I actually did try to date for the first few years until I realized that my life is so much easier single. And now that I've made that decision I feel freer and happier than I ever have. For me once I took the time to work on myself and learn to love myself then I found that not only did I no longer get lonely but I realized single was sooooo much easier with no drama. Being in a relationship no longer made sense to me. So I hope that you learn to love yourself and learn to NEVER settle. Figure out what YOU want and what YOU need and you won't ever allow yourself to be in that again. I think often these people prey on those who aren't so confident and sure of what they deserve. Good luck to you both!

All of this made me sick to my stomach. In the end I received 18 months in jail, my child’s birth, and there was nothing that I could do about it. category isn't any more fair than it is to generalize white people, black people or blue people. There are both good people and bad people everywhere!
Besides, what alternative would you propose? Should we do away with leo's completely and allow the citizens to police themselves? What do we do when
people make their job so horrible by they way they are treated (even the good ones) that you can't pay anyone enough to be a leo? We're not far away,

She even knew she was at fault. Sometimes I feel like I’m watching a different video than you all. When my husband and I first started dating his ex would do shit like this. She had broken up with him months prior but when she found out when had a new girlfriend she got my address and tried to fight me at several different locations. She threatened to stab me. She threw bricks through the window of our car. She injured my 3 year old daughter one of these times. She called my employer said she was me and cussed my boss out and told her I quit my job. I lost my apartment because she kept stalking us at my apartment complex and causing damage. She finally was arrested for robbing and kidnapping an elderly woman. 4 years later when she was released from prison she was on my door step the next day. Jealousy is a hell of a drug. It's so sad to see when a person with a real illness is treated like a criminal when in fact she just needed someone to care enough to try and help her. This is a real issue for many men and women who have psychological problems that may be undiagnosed or not treated. I know it's a very difficult thing to deal with from the outside and it's just easier to write them off but imagine if it was someone who you loved that was found in a situation where they are not in control of their own minds. You would want someone to show them kindness and get them whatever help they needed instead of sent into a broken system that will only send them deeper into an abyss where they can't even recognize themselves. I know I would want someone to help me.

How far we have come in recognising that all DV is wrong, and it’s great to see a crack down on all perpetrators.

Then, the “girlfriend “ says oh we are so concerned because she’s lost 40 pounds in 3 months-it must be drugs! No, loser, it’s called depression. But if she is unwell mentally being around the kids may not be the best option. The fact your instantly on her side and even more so hope she takes everything the mans worth is a bit telling. • @ElizabethF2222
      @ElizabethF2222 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +7

I agree and I have so much respect for that officer's kindness and compassion. I'm happily married so I'm not "bitter" but there are a few things in this story that didn't add up to me. One being the wife said (if her story was true) that they had 4 kids and "one on the way." She wasn't even showing yet, so that means hubby was just with the wife as recently as a few months prior, right? Why was her bank account frozen with HER RELATIVES' $8,000 grand in her account? The 14 year old just broke my heart when she cried and and said "I don't want to be here anymore," meaning she was very uncomfortable and unhappy living with her dad and his new GF. Also, GF sounded really rough around the edges to me, that "been around" sounding voice, doing all she could to make the mom look like a mental case, druggie. If she talked about the mom to the cops like that, then GUARANTEED she was making sure the husband knew all about how "horrible" his wife was. The wife couldn't be THAT crazy if her 14 year old wanted to go with her so badly. She gave her 14 year old a phone so they could communicate and the dad took it from her? That's really disgusting if true. Also, the wife didn't turn into a raging demon Karen when told she was going to be arrested, and cooperated with the officer. That told me a lot right there.
The wife also said the hubby was "just at her house the other day." Why was that? Why would he leave the mother of his children destitute to go shack up with his new GF? Why would the GF be okay with that?? Why would the GF be okay with the dad keeping the wife's kids from her? The GF and dad were keeping the GF's address secret. That's a terrible thing to do. It was the daughter who gave the mom the address. She has EVERY RIGHT to know where her kids are living, FFS! If they had a court hearing, chances are they would have some sort of joint custody arrangement, so why would the dad want his kids at his soon to be ex wife's house with nothing? IDK. Things just didn't add up there either. Imagine seeing your HUSBAND with another woman you know is talking sh*t about you (the 14 year old would be loyal to her mom, NOT the GF and would probably tell her mom everything the GF said about her) and she has YOUR kids and worse is helping the dad hide them from you? IDK. That would make me a bit ballistic too, even if I wasn't a nutcase. If you meet a man that tells you "My wife is crazy and we're getting a divorce," but the wife is pregnant and isn't even showing yet, then FIND your own man (or wife). I would have told him, "Fine. Call me when the divorce is final." Period. NEVER participate in breaking up a family, no matter who was at fault. If she's telling the truth, the wife said she "kicked him out" which probably means she caught him cheating with that GF. If you're truly meant to be together, then you can certainly wait until the final divorce decree and custody arrangement. Until then, find a single man to date and leave other women's husbands alone (that goes for men too, leave other men's wives alone). Advice from my late, very wise grandmother. "Always remember, if they'll cheat WITH you, they'll cheat ON you."

Florida is significantly different from the rest of the country. The people here are still mentally living in the 1900s. They need a Democrat to come in and get this state into shape- starting with their woefully inept education which exacerbates every issue they have. It’s utter chaos here and people are too dense to realize the political party they love and support are directly responsible for their problems. Ignorance is bliss should be their state motto 😂

Do not agree how rough he was with a 22 year old half the size of him and teasing her that much was ridiculous. She may have been an idiot but did not deserve to be wrecked around and pretty much dragged down the stairs that’s supposed to be professional police officers not bullies

The only abuse I saw in the first story was the police abusing a mental patient.

I saw her attempt to bite and did kick the officer in the thigh or possibly the groin.
