    Great first-impression video!! Thank you as always and I hope you had a great Thanksgiving! Btw there is absolutely nothing wrong with how you are leaving the webbing lose for adjustments; there is even a small strip of OneWrap included for that reason (webbing management). As to the 30-degree adapter, yeah instructions are sorely needed... but a "how to" video should be getting uploaded soon. Can you let us know if that upcoming installation video make any sense at all? lol

      I’ll look out for it. HRT’s belt setup video was pretty poorly done BTW. Let’s get closer and move slower for the pouches.

      @@EODFish They recently uploaded a dedicated belt assembly video, which is better but still no love for the 30-degree adapter... 😂 th-cam.com/video/O-uuIt7laZA/w-d-xo.html

    The Raptor Adaptor V2 series works really well with the HRT pouches

    Second review video on this belt system that I've watched, and I like it!
    I've been using HSGI belt and taco pouches, and when/if I am needing to replace it, and this is definitely a viable option!
    I just don't know why they don't include a sleeve for the back portion?

    After reviewing all these carriers what are your top picks? Looking to jump on a holiday sale so I need to know now 😂

    Thinline defense said that a rear molle sleeve is in the works for this belt

  • @allegedkurd
    @allegedkurd ปีที่แล้ว

    So without the sleeves, how does it velcro in the back? Or would you have to purchase an extra sleeve

    • @steakwilliams4448
      @steakwilliams4448 ปีที่แล้ว

      According to thinlinedefense, they have not released a back sleeve for it yet. I'd imagine it's not just one of their current sleeves as it'd have no spot for a buckle and 2 of those tegris butterfly clips sewn in

      @@steakwilliams4448 That's a bummer.

      @@allegedkurd Out of curiosity, what is the reason you wanted the sleeves to extend to the back?

    • @allegedkurd
      @allegedkurd ปีที่แล้ว

      @Valhalla Tactical it's less the sleeves and more the velcro. I just prefer all around stability, so that when I sit down, my belt doesn't get pushed up off of my inner belt. That happened with my Axl belt when I sat down and my ifak would rest on the back of the seat, and their outer velcro wasn't working very well with my inner belt.

    • @ValhallaTactical
      @ValhallaTactical ปีที่แล้ว

      @@allegedkurd Hahaaaa I am glad we are on the same page!! I ran the AXL belt since they came out, and I know EXACTLY what you went through. For me, the problem is less about the hooks wrapping around, but they only have hooks on the top half of their belt. In addition, AXL use traditional hooks and they do not extend edge-to-edge; the actual hooks are only about 0.8" tall. As a result (and also natural anatomy of human hip), any upward lift will cause the velcro to separate, especially if you don't position them perfectly - if the outer belt sits is just a tiny bit too high when I don it, damn thing will lift. Switching to the ARC belt, even with zero back velcro, fixed all of it (because the side velcros grab sooooo much better). Nonetheless, here is another simple solution - if your IFAK is compatible with MALICE or WTF-Sticks, attach it to your XL using OneWrap instead, and do it with the hook side out. You only need maybe 2 strips of them to completely hold the belt down. Obviously, that simple trick also works on the ARC belt... which is why they included some OneWraps. But you can definitely work your Eclipse belt harder. Cheers!!

    AXL Eclipse belt,
    Defense Mechanisms MECH
    This,
    BFG CHLK belt
    Ferro Bison,
    any other Tegris belts I'm missing?
    (order is how I would rank them for average flat range User)

      wtfidea molle outer belt
      the axl is the best then DM and WTF
      then BFG and bison
      gbrs is the worst
      javelin concepts has a tegris belt as well

    • @EODFish
      @EODFish  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don’t know which way that order goes but it’s wrong either way. The DM and the AXL shouldn’t be that close unless I’m missing some serious special sauce with the DM.

    • @allegedkurd
      @allegedkurd ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EODFish I love the DM inner, but the outer only really works well if you're using onewrap or MALICE clips.

      havent seen the DM in person so imgoing off word of mouth , i did not like the bison at all and the BFG is really expensive and has a weird buckle . would not like the dm as much if you use hard molle mounting option, i use only one wrap or belt loops on all my belts so the molle issue on the DM doesnt effect me
