Love all your cars and love your channel not that big commercial channel with click beat titles and one advertising afther the other. You really do need to get yourself a Montego Countryman with the 2 litre Perkins prima engine. They make fantastic tow cars as well as excellent family transport. They’re only going to go up in value too!! I’m trying to get my hands on another one whilst I can
I went to the local copart and found a brown Toyota Space Cruiser Van and a rolled Tesla model S plaid and had the idea of combining the two. Sounds like our perfect car is the same but not yet a reality!
You should get a roof tent great opportunity to see how it compares with a folding camper, the perodua has roof rails, and looks like it could be doing with more weight on it's roof since it's so tall and narrow 😅
I drove to the uk this year. 1st time. I found the english roads to less nice than the wales roads. Ibfound thevenglish to be pushy and more forceful. The welsh motorway to Holyhead proved to be quite pleasant.
Bella is the definitely the camping/tow car in your fleet. I've recently sold my caravan due to lack of use, spare time and also resentment for high pitch fees 😮 Be kind 😊
Lots of unkind people about at the moment! I went to my local supermarket today and had 3 people nearly ram into me on the car journey there. An unpleasant experience made all the worse by being showered in yoghurt and cream from an adjacent checkout where the guys shopping all fell off onto the floor! Not going out there again for a bit now! Had enough!
I can't say I noticed anything out of the ordinary on last month's three week trip from Scotland to the Midlands and back. Today was moderately unpleasant but that was around the Edinburgh area and it's always like that - expect no quarter to be given and you won't be disappointed.
Nice? Try driving in the Philippines! It is totally mad. Nobody will let you in to the traffic flow, you have to force your way in. Motorbikes and Jeepneys everywhere, darting in and out of the traffic and the Jeepneys will just stop anywhere, even across two lanes. Then there are the buses that use their size to intimidate others road users. It took me quite a while while to get used to driving here after Adelaide, South Australia.
Hello Ian, would a cosmetically sloppy, but mechanically sound 1.5 CRDI Kia Rio MK2 be any interest to you, as a tow car? It has110 BHP / 173 ft lb, only £30 tax and gets high 40s to low 50s MPG quite easily. It even has 4 Goodyear tyres all round!
I have the perfect solution to your towcar problem. Link the Perodua and the Daihatsu to double the power, and it would make good content for the Channel.

Hi Ian. As an ex Longbridge employee I always thought the Montego Estate was the darling of the BL management car plan fleet. Very popular in 2L form.
