Has something changed recently? On the admissions page under the common app essay prompt it says “No additional essays will be reviewed.” Did the short answer supplementals get dropped?

The short essays are still there. Looking in the Writing section of Texas A&M in your My Colleges tab.
Superb..is there a quota limit on students from Kazakhstan?
Do you think a student who waited for regular admission date versus early application date, is a detriment to their admission?
I noticed on the A&M website it says the engineering essay has been removed.
