Evening Richard, This is Jes. It was good to meet you last week. I have had the weekend to browse some of your TH-cam videos. I was impressed with what I saw. I was equally impressed with the gilding too, which completes the pieces The videos are pleasant to watch as you add a bit of humour to it.
Hey Jes, well done for finding me! And glad you enjoyed the videos 🤗 I can’t make it for a bike ride out this Friday, can we do next Friday at 530 instead?
@@WoodWithD That’s not a problem, so the Friday after. In my diary,😁although I’ll tell you in advance that I’ll miss the hill. I Went there the other day, I can’t do it, not yet anyway. Give me time. I told Steph my wife about your partner being from CAN and she thought small world.

From dusty workshop to sparkling show, your pieces look a_m_a_z_i_n_g they are so unique and truly are works of art, really lovely to see them in all their glory. Inspirational to hear more about the woods and the meaning behind the pieces.

Thank you kindly sir 👍👍👍 Hope you enjoy some of the other videos and I look forward to any and all comments! I do like a comment or two and I always respond 😊👍
To be fair, a lot (certainly not all) of the initial ideas come from Lenore! Sometimes they’re impossible, but can be adjusted or inspire me in a slightly different direction! Do you like the river type pieces my waney friend?
@@WoodWithD The resin work is amazing and Lenore’s description takes me back to fishing for mullet in crystal clear waters of Cornwall as a kid with my dad. But your gilded orbs are my favourite, especially your Ghia pieces, these remind me of an old spartan shield with the memories of a gladiators life. Maybe you could do an, I’m Spartacus collection? 🤣😂🤣
Some really beautiful pieces haw did you manage to catch yourself a lovely Canadian Lady was her little house on the east or west side of Hanna this town has gone through so much change in the last 40 plus's years I am no sure the house is still there
She says you could see the roundhouse from where the house had been. On the town side of the tracks she thinks. Does the surname Zavitz mean anything to you? She also says, quote ‘When I went back, there were still some older men that remembered Grampa. But my grandpa and grandma probably left in the 60’s, so I can’t imagine anyone’s left who’d remember. Grandpa worked for Canadian Pacific rail.
@@WoodWithDThat name I don't recognize but y have only lived in Hanna since 1981 my wife has been in the Hanna area all her life I will have to ask her when she get home from work. The Round House still exists and it is in the process of being restored there is only one house on the south side of the train tracks and it is on the east side of Hanna across from the CN Dam that would be the Canadian National Railway. The railway tracks no longer exist the CNR removed them about. 10 years ago as well the grain elevator is gone as well
