Acoustic Guitar Sessions Presents Joan Armatrading

The incomparable Joan Armatrading treated us to a hit parade when she recently stopped by the Acoustic Guitar offices during her world tour that spanned 2014-2015.
Watch the British singer-songwriter and excellent guitarist perform her 1976 fan favorite "Down to Zero," 1975's "Steppin' Out"-also the name of her 1979 live album-and signature hit "Love and Affection."
Armatrading has been writing songs and performing since she was 16, and says in a statement that she'll be slowing down following this most recent international tour. "I will never retire, but this will be the last major tour that I will undertake. I have absolutely enjoyed the last 42 years of performances but now, with my last major world tour, I want to capture a unique memory for both myself and the audience."
