I am a Greek Orthodox and I think being a priest is a very difficult and exhausting job. But for the grace of God I don't know how they are able to endure it. Praise the Lord.
He paid a debt he didn't owe. We owed a debt we couldn't pay. Thankyou so very much Jesus of Nazareth. The only king that matters and son of the only living God.
God bless you and yours, father. May the priest Saints stand by you because they have experienced what you are going through and know how to truly guide and protect you.
What Jesus are you talking about? The one doing signs in every chapter or the one rebuking those seeking signs? "The only sign is Jonah:" a believer murdered by other believers because he was outnumbered
@@Stupidityindex He rebukes those who seek signs because it can often lead to prelest and they need discernment. There are still legitimate signs and miracles, and Jesus was one who performed them, but that doesn't mean that we should be always seeking them out. It's a false dichotomy.
i love how you speak of how you had really good spiritual fathers and how you don’t think you’re very good as a spiritual father but I bet a lot of your parishioners believe you are an amazing spirit father to them :)
Father, of the many RCC and ☦ priests I've listened to and heard speak during services, your skill and gift of communication has been the most remarkable and unparalleled yet. That message about "I can't" and seeking Christ's forgiveness of others while doing the Jesus prayer is so freeing and new to me as a cradle Catholic. Thank you for your commitment to getting these teachings and quotations out to the general public beyond your parish. This channel along with Jay Dyer, Father Deacon, and Fr. Spyridon have begun my inquiry into Orthodoxy. God bless.
Before i even watch this new video, i am reminded of one morning at Holy Confession, when i talked about the Our Father, and, said about the words about forgiveness: i don't LIKE that part, i said. (The priest actually gave a little chuckle, which i surely had not expected. But it told me that he knew that many others didn't like it either.. at least at first..) I have known and prayed this prayer since early childhood in my prtnst life, but it took on a deeper PRESENCE after my reception in the Orthodox Church.. At any rate now, i am more happy to forgive and to pray for others than before. And i pray that that lasts.. especially with troubles i expect will surely come.. The peace that forgiveness provides is a deep and special blessing which i hope not to lose.. ☦📿💝📿☦ I have now watched the full video and especially the last section about forgiveness. Very important to me and something i can benefit from..☦📿💝📿☦
An incident happened at work, many years ago, I was unfairly treated by my boss, it was horrible. I left the job shortly thereafter but I could feel bitterness trying to take hold in my heart. I prayed with lots of tears telling Jesus that I did not know how to forgive this person, I asked for his help, knowing forgiveness was beyond my capabilities. I stayed in prayer, weeping for his grace, to understand. A gentleness swept over me and I was able to effortlessly forgive the person. I was so grateful, and thanked our Saviour, Jesus Christ, with tears of thankfulness. Was the first time I admitted that I could not forgive without his intervention. I love our Saviour beyond my own understanding, his mercy is real.
Father Paul is an amazing person. He is humbling to listen to. I look at him as my spiritual Father. Trying to live in repentenace, internalizing the Gospel with gratitude and joy; and pleasing Christ. Lord forgive me, for I am a sinner
4:32 Please explain how to discern what is blessings from God and deception from Satan when good things are happening to you. I am making a decision and everything is working out when I thought it was not possible at all. Please I need to hear this.
heyyy i thought about this too but i think we should just talk about it to God. always pray and ask God to let things be aligned with him. we shouldn’t fear or worry about it though. just have faith that God’s plan for us is His will. let’s pray, have faith and walk with God and everything will be ok even if it’s not something we want for ourselves. God knows best❤
My friend, forgiveness is accessible to any human being. Talk to our Lord Jesus Christ, repent of your sins. He will show you His mercy and infinite love.

Having found orthodoxy i feel truly blessed, it is filled with wisdom and good fruits
Father Paul is my favorite priest you interview - keep him coming!
