Also management skills, in civil services training they were taught management administration too
Not every person with a BSc or BA degree cant become a civil servant
99.9% of them are corrupt.
Some of my family & friends are civil servant and in Police Force & I can assure they all are corrupt.
My parents also want me appear in UPSC & WBCS, become an officer and stay honest but I don't want to cause what I have seen with just the salary its hard to survive.

If we see only 1-3% are those sincere students who prepare for UPSC, The rest of them just taste it,
Civil service is not for fame or money or power that thing will anyhow come to you once you are part of the "SYSTEM", I myself have noticed this thing people start to think about the perks, the bungalow, and power without clearing the exam, They start to live in fool's paradise which they have created for themselves.

We're a country already obsessed with IIT, IIM and UPSC stuff and videos like these only make it worse. Its only a small percentage of ppl who really talks about innovation and overhauling the private sector of India. Our education system is going in drains and no one gives a damn!

Par ye salary Kam hai ka bahana bana kar corruption karna is unacceptable. At the time of preparation sabko pata hota hai kitni salary Milne wali hai. They are agree on that that's why they join. An average IAS officer makes a minimum of 1000 crores in his lifetime. These leeches of british era are biggest hurdle to Indian development. A chaman BA hons graduate becomes IAS and will be handling projects of dams. This is their level.
what do you think? the IAS officer himelf construct the Dam or anything else. The specialist are equiped for the project. IAS officer just a secondary superviser. Dam not a single work. migrate people from one place to another place. maintain law and order during the project. orders to divert rout. resource allocation for the project. panctuality in the project. corruption in the project, quality of the meterial, minimum wage of the labour. etc are duty of the IAS officer. different specialise dept. offficers in district are there to subordinate the IAS.
