- Becoming an IAS officer is a dream for many. Lakhs of aspirants appear for the tough UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) to become an IAS officer but only a few make the cut.
So how does life change for the ones who do make the cut?
What does a day in the life of an IAS Officer typically look like? Is there a fixed daily schedule? What are the responsibilities? How is the life of an IAS Officer in India?

Session and now I come to understand why upsc askso tuff question during paper and unterv iw it want to see how you answers tackle problem and your mindset and it ibuild the capacity of taking pressure and how u handle things and pressure ias is grt job. @@nknkannadiga9742 IAS has to pass the class 10 regional language exam of the state- meaning she has to learn kannada to read, write, speak.
This is mandatory for all IAS officers.
Unlike politicians who become ministers without knowing the state language

Please visit also the local hospitals. Schools please make sure the have the toilet for boys and girls especially for girls toilets equipped with sanitary pads when they thier period at school. I believe female Civil Services Officer is the best. They, because of their gender itself one can trust them for their decisions taken would be without malice and bias (it may not be 100% but it will be better than if it were not). They are not likely to go corrupt but if they do then it would be with much greater punch than if it were otherwise.
