So how does life change for the ones who do make the cut?
Civil services bring job security, which is what is believed by a large number of people in our country. For another section of people, it is believed that civil services will bring them power and will elevate their social status. And finally, there's another section of people who want to clear this prestigious competitive exam to be able to serve the needy with basic amenities, and also to be able to increase the standard of living of all citizens of the country.
This series will be a sneak peek into the life of the Officers on Duty - what happens on a day-to-day basis, what are the challenges faced, and how they are creating an impact? and so on.
Also, you will get to meet trainees and recruits who have started their training to become IPS officers. The processes and the amount of effort they have to give in after acing the exam to reach their end goal are described to the dot in these series.

He may be honest but his logics of policing are really poor. I remember in one of his videos asking a couple why they were roaming in evening on bike. I mean if that is an IPS officer who is himself not sure about the safety of his area, I'd rather have constables policing the streets.

@Nishant Shukla brother Army & Police ka Promotion ek standard tahrike se hoti hai.. Actually for promotion to SSP have completed 13 yrs of service after IPS training.. And 1 yr after promoted to DIG. 14yrs of service...Actually wikipedia given 13yrs service as SP, many are promoted to SP after 4yrs , some are 2yrs depending on state govt, maximum is 4yrs, minimum is 2yrs.. If officer served as SP even 8yrs not an problem, he will considered to 13 yrs of service..
Actually i saw Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand state 2018 batch promoted to SP 2yrs of service, but in Telangana, MH, GJ, KT, TN are promoted after 4yrs, in 2 to 4 yrs they will be promoted to Additional SP.. Later promoted to SP..

Decolonization is done that's why they have to work under ministers.
Minister is people's representative whearas officer is public servant. Thus officer has to work under elected minister in a democracy.
According to constitution bureaucracy must work under the public representatives or politicians who are accountable to public. Because in a Democracy power must resides with public..
