There should be Sluha Narodu(show play by Zelensky which got him become President) ending, where ethnic Yugoslavian former Ukrainian President use Ukraine to form Personal union between Ukraine and Yugoslavia
Realistically, there was a politician in 1990 called Ante Marković who led the Yugoslav reformists, who wanted to preserve the unity of the country, while modernizing it and wanted to have it enter the European Union. Alas Milošević grew too powerful and attempted to assassinate Marković in Banski Dvori. Soon after Marković resigned and left politics for good. Who knows, if Marković was more resilient, and he forced Milošević into resignation, we could've seen a new future for Yugoslavia (or at least we could split up more peacefully)

Actually no, the Italian part was the west coast (towns like Rovinj, Pula) and especially the northwest (towns like Kopar, Izola, Umag, Buje, Novigrad). That's why on that territory (the northwest of the peninsula) was formed the B zone of the Free territory of Trieste.

Basically Yugoslavia = Germany, Serbia = Prussia
The Communist ending and the Balkan Federal ending are the best ones. I wish Yugoslavia would have stayed together and remained communist (or at least democratic socialist like it was in the 90's through 2000).
Yugoslavia reminds me of Chinese history. Yugoslavia was formed out of 6 nations/regions. China was formed out of 6 kingdoms. In both cases, these territories were very different from each other. Geographically, culturally, climatically, linguistically - totally different places. Then what happened that China formed in 3rd century BC. lives to this day and Yugoslavia fell after few decades? Chinese first emperor ruled by iron fist and to ensure that his country would stay together, he unified everything. Alphabet, system of creating stamps, language, military organisation etc. Maybe cuisine remained different in different provinces, but everywhere in China there were common things to be found. Things which couldn't be ignored. Also, he resettled all aristocrats to his capital. This prevented separatist movements. And everyone who dared to act against him was executed. Mao was inspired by his repressions btw. Did Yugoslavia follow the same way? Well, in a way. At first, it was divided into many small oblasts, but they reflected borders of Serbia, Croatia-Slavonia etc. So they created banovinas, bigger divisions. Besides Slovenian banovina, NONE of them anyhow followed the ethnic division. As such, secession of any banovina would be pointless. King Alexander I also tried to enforce unity - for instance, by installing the same calendar across the country. And he also ruled as a dictator, trying to suppress separatists. Meanwhile, he tried to make Croats support him. Then why Chinese Emperor succeeded? Here is the problem. He ruled for few decades, mostly undisturbed. Whereas Yugoslavia saw assassination of the king and few years later, WW2, political struggle between chetniks and communists. This saw explosion of nationalist anger and separatism. Despite the fact that Tito unified everything again, wounds remained. Ironically, by trying to maintain Yugoslav unity, it can be argued that Tito destroyed it. How? By following two royal mistakes In 1930s, regent Paul created Croatian banovina which received special status and autonomy. And comprised of most if not all mostly Croatian-speaking territories. And Serbs were dominant in politics. Tito did similar thing. Created national, autonomous republics. According to Franjo Tudman, government in Belgrade was dominated by Serbs and over-focused on demonising Ustase. China was unified only because many people were forced to live in a certain way, many were killed. However, a powerful state was created and never was there secessionism in these core Han Chinese lands. It's a matter of debate whether it was a good way. But maybe it was the only way which would grant survival to Yugoslavia? Unitary state, decades of undisturbed royal control over the internal unification process
