This was the first car that popped up when I was looking for NA-T IS’ and I thought to myself, this is most beautiful NA-T I’ve ever seen I didn’t think I stumble onto the video breakdown of the build.
This the type of builds that make your chest cave in. That's some impressive stuff. Going to go uz is400 with mine. Next car will definitely be awd...but that's for another day.
Hi Christian, how is your car holding up, I am more interested in the health of your drive shafts, front differential and transfer case, are they holding up with this type of power? Also, have you launched the car with this power? Thanks in advance.
Block is different but rwd block can be modified to suit, awd subframe, mounts, steering rack , lower control arm rear mounts welded into chassis and oil pan and oil pump at minimum.
Why is there only rear-wheel drive in the USA from the Lexus is300 supported?? Where did the four-wheel drive go?? Or is it just the Gita? Who fumbles in this topic write:))
Would be very easy to move this AWD 2j setup to a zf8hp auto trans, which also support transfer case in awd configs. 8 speed w/ 100ms shifts, clutch by wire
That still ends up being more time shifting than a stock th400 since it only shifts twice, or once if staying below 200kph. Sounds like he's got a decent stall that keeps it near peak power in each gear.
The transfer is out of an awd barra powered ford territory, they hold up fine in 2.5 tonne suv with up to 1000hp, tge crown diff is bigger than gtr front diffs. 170mm vs 160mm in a gtr.
@@BlackBeard_ET I'm looking for someone that can make me a custom awd front subframe for a left hand drive supra mk4. Front hubs, front shocks forks, engine mounts, etcs. Hopefully a bolt in kit.
@@vinhtran4886 only way for there to be a “bolt in kit” there has to be a demand for it.. otherwise it’s up to the fabricator to lay it out for you and hoping he got it all correct.
Amazing car glad this came up on my feed! , love the mid range acceleration! Has this car done any roll racing/drag racing/autox? If you had a choice for a smaller turbo what would you pick? There seams to be alot of people going the gtx3582, efr 8374/9180 route - however most of them have manuals. I've been reading compressor maps and found the sxe range to be right in the sweet spot I'm currently getting the parts together for an is300 + s364sxe + built a340 (3200rpm) I'm planning, this has just reaffirmed my choice!

I've been hunting for info and came across your build photos online. Glad I finally found your video and the explanations. Fantastic job sir.

so in order for this awd conversion to work you have to use a toyota crown subframe and block?
The oil pan and oil pump not the whole block from what I gathered

@hydrocarbon82 im guessing you're more of a "car go straight" kinda guy
wonder what power that x5 trasnfercase and that crown diff hold

Would the 2jz awd front sub frame and suspension parts fit in a supra mk4?
Depending on money and how much you want to spend

Ladies and gentlemen I present to you the real life Sultan Rs
Seems a lot of work considering the Altezza Gita/IS300 Sportcross (ie this body shape) came with a 2JZ-GE & AWD from factory...
RWD from factory...

Nathan Cooke if i had to choose a smaller turbo a garrett g35-1050 would be my choice. The s364 is a great budget turbo that will be lots of fun.
@@11jbegita sportcorss could be had with awd
