Bro practically everything in CS:S is a laser, especially the Glock and the Deagle 💀💀
In the 2010 engine update for css, valve completely fucked up the recoil recovery rate and never looked back. They actually fix is the giantic hitboxes that 2x times bigger than the player models, slowed down awping, rifle jump peeking, nothing more. The Deagle and p90 receive a significant buff in the update as well which is so stupid consider how they are already so noob friendly before the update already. If you dont believe me, download a pirated copy of pre-2010 css, repeat the test with current steam css and see for yourself. There are ton more thing valve butchered in css in that update i cant list here, which make me thing if they actually want to kill css in preparation for csgo later in 2013. Fun fact: Csgo was born from the failure of valve trying to make a console port of css.

Notice how cs 1.6 and css both has 3 different patterns on random for each sprays (its a lot more apparent in css) compared to a fixed pattern for csgo/cs2. The css deagle tho, it was similar to the usp pattern pre-orangebox 2010 update, now has that OP pattern with almost spread only and no recoil at all.
CSGO-CS2 = FIxed pattern + inaccuracy spead = which means no one could ever 100% master it, THe best they will get is 95%. Much better system than random spray ( 1.6-CSS) which no one would bother to learn. like why would you ? If its different every time ?
@@m.n.s.s2825 different games was developed with different mindsets. 1.6 or source was never intended to be a competitive game at its time. Minh le, the co-creator of cs 1.6 even said he want to develop a fun tactical-swat game, not a competitive shooter. Csgo/cs2 fixed pattern make sense for a competitive shooter game. But remember that early csgo dev said rng spread was a soft method to nerf ppl with good aim in long distance duel since spread is still applied to 1st shot even when standing still, in a sense to make lesser players has more chances and lucky shot exists. To each of their own, its interesting to see how game in the same franchise different and development change over timez

but i still think its really bad idea to nerf good players to boost odds for low skilled people, doesnt matter its casual or comp game. Even in casual game the people want to be skilled cause winning is fun . They should always reward people who takes their time to master game mechanics
Early CSGO had the same idea, They added lots of fog to the maps so skilled long range aimer couldnt see properly to rek low skill players. They later removed the fog from the comp map and only added to casuals and maintained 2 map version at once, BUt later the no fog version also introduced to casual cause even the casual players didnt like it and wanted clear visibility. Like I said casual or comp, everyone wants to win
@@m.n.s.s2825 valve cant actually maintain both version of the same map at the same time, hence the _se variant during the 2013 period for csgo. Guess what, thats also present in the earlier version of css, where the fog is broken and white out player model and part of the map over distance. It only took valve 6 years to finally fixed that whilst breaking other 9999 things in the process like recoil recovery rate, interp,.... Yes, one patterns is fair and i understand the spread is there to encourage utility usage to close the distance of the fight but 1st shot inaccuracy even while standing still is just odd for me, like the awp still has a chance to miss while crouch shooting from pit to A on dust 2 if aimed at the head. Get rid of the 1st shot rng spread while stationary would the perfect system imo, it dont punish great aimer for having perfect crosshair placement but fail to simply rng and even worse at longer range.
@@m.n.s.s2825 Aim at the head for the first shot, immediately drop to torso and move mouse side-to-side while dragging downard. About 1/4-1/2 way through a mag the recoil pattern will become obvious and even sometimes "get stuck" in one corner of the imaginary upside down triangle that 1.6 guns dance around in. 1.6 has the bonus of better first-shot accuracy, especially while crouched; this helps noobs stand a chance but also without penalizing better aim if you stick to doing multiple rapid single-taps- If you want something truly skill based, go play UT2004 with instagib mutator where everyone gets a gun that has 0 accuracy and kills in 1-hit

each gun in 1.6 had 2-4 different recoil patterns that would be randomly selected when you started a spray
so it wasn't always consistent, but also kind of was in a way-interesting system
dumbest system which randomize the game and take away the skill based spray pattern mastering
except that's obviously not true because people did in fact get extremely good at spraying in 1.6

Once i played cs source but with a bunch of randoms and they said the guns never had recoil. Man... I played source since I'm barely conscious and almost all the guns HAVE RECOIL. It's so accurate and minimal visual recoil but never is zero.
The only gun and this happens in CS 1.6 is the Glock. There's no visual recoil. There's no visual kick in your screen when you shoot.
And in Source the burst fire, is so broken in the first round, basically is the Famas in the first round.

3) Так с дигла особо никто и не спамит.
4) Проблема в том, что в ксго/кс2 с ним невозможно играть. У меня, при идеальных условиях (я не двигаюсь, сижу, по мне не стреляют, я стреляю с определённой паузой между выстрелами) залетит дай бог 1/100 пуль, когда в старых КС каждый второй выстрел, если не каждый первый.
5) Раньше, с дигла хорошо играть мог научиться каждый, сейчас - нужно прям задротить, играть только с диглом, чтобы начать его чувствовать. Мне быстрее КС надоест, чем я начну получать дофамин за убийства и внесение определённого импакта.
6) Какой смысл от дигла, в ксго/кс2, если существенный импакт сможешь внести максимум в 1-2 раунда за сторону, когда в старых Кс ты мог ебать весь сервер уже начиная с первого раунда.
@@user-hx1cf4dh8b ну, видимо это сделано для того, чтобы дигл не использовали вместо снайперской винтовки. на короткой дистанции он в любом случае попадает нормально. просто разработчики должны учитывать все аспекты игры, а не только чьи-то субъективные впечатления. сначала да, с ним надо научиться играть, а потом все будут с одними диглами бегать, если они будут слишком точными, и это внесет грубый дисбаланс в игру

There is bug in cs1.6 where on High fps some guns (most notably the p228 in this video) appears to shoot two rounds instead of one you will see two shells and two bullet holes but only one is actually recognized by the server

Some crates in HL1/OpFor/CSCZDS/etc, won't move at all unless you cap framerate to ~100fps. It's been known for decades that guns can either shooter faster or slower depending on FPS and which game

@@IHateGriefer it's because gun is loud, so all the sound should be 'clipping' (the effect you get when screaming into mic). The new sound is Dynamic-compressed (loud sound similar to quiet sound), but this is not realistic, when sound is too loud or colour too bright, in real life it all 'clip' or blend-into-white.
Now we need a spray patters for movement. Walk, crouch, etc.

Люди которые пищут что в CSS лучший спрей, вы в адеквате?! В CSS/CS 1.6 каждый раз рандомный рисунок спрея (на ак-47 и м4 это наглядно видно) тоесть его модет повети вверх как вправо так и влево или держать в одном напранеии резко перебрасывая патерн в другое, ну вы поняли. А в CS 2(cs go) один рисунок рисунок спрея всегда, с небольшими погрешностями, что делает возможность точно укадывать пули в потивника в 99%.
It's more correct to call CS2 MP5 as MP5SD as it has integrated suppressor. Also iirc MP5SD in CS2 sucks 😂
See, this is why I stick to CSS, yeah the main 4 are still too op, but atleast all items have nice sprays... so gungame and other custom mdoes are more fun.

I came back to Counterstrike the other day, and I can say I am extremely disappointed with how the Deagle feels in CS2. Half the time I'm yelling "Where are my bullets going!?" I've played cs since 1.1. 1.1 and 1.3 are my favorite versions of the game.

Some observations:
+While 1.6 has the overall least accurate weapons, the first-shot accuracy is generally higher. Further reinforcing the game's original intent of being more "tactical" than run-and-gun
+CSGO accuracy for primary weapons tends to be overall more "spread out", but the individual bullets land much more closely to the imaginary line they trace than the other games, making the spray patterns even more predictable
+Most guns sound best in 1.6, a few sound better in Source. All CSGO guns sound like shit
