Lessons In Meme Culture also made a video about him. In the comments, npesta stated that because the 2.1 Awards were coming out ON THAT SAME DAY he really wanted to get the level out. He also said in one of his recent streams that at the time there was also some tension in his family and when he just randomly beat Kenos he just let it all out in one big emotion storm.

@@iMintyGreen It actually was. As Flaaroni said, Robtop rated deimos like 3 months after the verification and in that time, CP was also verified so deimos was never above CP on the demon's list despite the fact deimos was verified first.
As 'funny' as his reaction is, can you seriously imagine the emotions and endorphins that must have been flooding through that guy at that moment in time? Even beyond the personal achievement, hundreds of hours spent on a singular thing, ect. ect. the GD community can be immensely pressure heavy on it's top verifiers. Coming back to this video, I've realized how much Npesta has actually done for GD. He basically revived the community and the game. Without him, Riot would also not have his channel back. (Riot said that the #freenpesta movement gave him a chance to do a #freeriot which got his channel back up.)

You should also put in the fact that combi got 97 twice and he beat the unbuffed after coming back from break. Aswell as giving props to doggie (Npesta’s editor as of recently) as he is an amazing editor, player, and builder. But other than that great video and since I’ve been with Npesta since beginning Of Deimos I can approve somewhat.

on the real though I didn't think the reaction would be memed, but just known as one of the most sensible reactions known to man. He put hundreds of thousands of attempts into the level, and along with that had some discouraging points along the way (if he didn't buff the level then the Crazen and Combined drama could've ended it for him). So when I saw the win, the reaction was so amazing and so real. It was so emotional that it could make a grown man cry.
