ahh so basically you use the wood for the feather but feather cant be played until you get enough wood to do the dearth and the once you get too much wood you get the feather but you do it in reverse and then you turn the wheel to determine if its an authenticity feather and if its based in London you get the feather wood therefore winning the game. We invited my brother and his wife over to play Nemesis. The most complex game they play is Sorry. This video is exactly what happened to the T. My brother was the dude in red down to even saying "once I figured it out it was fun" and "I want to okay again" and even looking at his phone making sports bets. But he is so impatient he keeps cutting me off with "let's just begin and you explain along", "just let me play and i will learn little by little", and i sigh and let him start and on his first move he goes "ok what is the goal again?" or "uh what do i do?" and i have to start explaining again, just to be cut off again. Great times!
@@neliaferreira9983 I know that all too well! They are also the same type of people that get mad at you for not telling them some obscure rule, that you usually told them three times. Eventually as you play more games with them they do seem to get easier to teach, but for now just try to stick with more tactical games that you can teach as you go without needing to know all the rules at once. If that fails, just pick out the game a week ahead of time and send them Rahdo videos. Rahdo doesn't teach you everything, and he doesn't always get everything right, but he does go through most of the rules as they come up during his playthrough.

I do my research very well because I know not many people have the patience or the experience to sit thru half-assed explanations! :D Either way, i have so many different games we always manage to quickly find one that matches the people and the situation. It doesn't frustrate me though. I find it so funny to explain rules, people have the most comical reactions! And sometimes noone respects the rules and the game turns into a chaos of surreal enjoyment. As long as we have fun!
This reminds me of a dream I had where someone was teaching me their version of Monopoly where they'd shuffled MTG cards into the decks and you had to summon monsters to defend your properties or something.

You don't exactly need to pay rent just for standing on someone's property, but if you want to rest there you're giving them money. It's more likely that you'll meet on the board, fight each other and steal their gear. Actually, officially completing a Dokapon Kingdom game takes dozens of hours. It is the most friendship-straining thing created by mankind.

We played an absolute ordeal of a board game on xmas day with my girlfriend's family. It was stressful and only fun in retrospect. The highlight of that experience was sharing this sketch with them afterwards and they were absolutely dying. We love you magnificent bastards.
