Thank you for the tips. I agree that staying overnight gives more time to explore.

What time did you leave Odawara to take the train back to Tokyo?

Right after dinner. I think the trains from Odawara to Tokyo are frequent enough, and there isn't any need to make reservations. Check a transport app so you know when the next train is arriving, and just walk from the restaurant to the station.

@@budgiebudgettraveler thank you so much. Is there any transport app recommendations?

@@zanegamingtv2252 there is an app named "Japan Transit Planner" (by Jorudan) on Playstore. It works in English. I do not know if there is an iOS version though. Google maps works most times too, but I feel the former should be more accurate if there are unexpected incidents that cause schedule changes

Hi, I am trying to find the restaurant where you had dinner in Odawara and I cannot find it. Do you have a name for it please?

The name of the restaurant was shown in the video - Monjya Yokocho. I googled and it seems they may have moved to Yokohama. eight-8.co.jp/en/shop/monjayokocho.html
Anyway, this type of DIY monjya/okonomiyaki place are not rare, and besides Monjya Yokocho, there are other similar restaurants

How it will be in June end???

I expect it would be warmer? And perhaps wetter? I haven't been to Hakone in June tho, but generally June is considered the rainy season on Honshu, the season for hydrangeas. I found that Hokkaido was not rainy in June, except for the Wakkanai area
