I had the bottom LED-Light placed on one of my rear buttons, but since the update it´s gone and I can´t seem to find it anymore. It´s not shown in the selectable options to manually set to the buttons. Am I blind?

Took out my Mavic 3 Cine tonight and the software wouldn't let me fly above a few meters? Are they blocking it in some areas at night?
Great informative video, does shooting in night mode allow Dlog/D-Cinelike in 10bit or is the footage limited to 8bit normal mode only?

I'm an old fella and in outback qld Australia.
My M3 has night viz from last upload but I've not tried it yet as its black as at night.
No town,no street lights only a verandah light.
I'll give it a shot though soon just to see, if M3 can see.

Does the firmware update with NIGHT MODE contain the update for REMOTE ID as well? I'm reluctant to any upgrade with REMOTE ID :(

When flying at night, will the strobe light Interfere with "night mode" video recording? What is your recommendation? Idea.... use an approved strobe light that does project as much to the side?

Great tips for night flying with the Mavic 3. Night mode does an amazing job cleaning up the noise, but there are some sacrifices to the image quality. However, considering this is a drone - the image is still spectacular. I am working on a similar video over the NYC skyline and cant wait to share it.

Great tips and a great video.👍🏾 However there was one thing that I was hoping you would speak on, and that is the use of anti-collision lighting on your drone when flying at night, according to 107.29 Operations at night: The small unmanned aircraft has lighted anti-collision lighting visible for at least 3 statute miles that has a flash rate sufficient to avoid a collision. The remote pilot in command may reduce the intensity of, but may not extinguish, the anti-collision lighting if he or she determines that, because of operating conditions, it would be in the interest of safety to do so.
I know this helps tremendously when planes are flying over you and helps you to see the drone even better.
I use a strobe anti-collision light by (Firehouse Technology Arc V.) It works really good.

I haven't tried night mode with my M3P. I've run a lot of night hyperlase missions of holiday light displays with decent results, but I'm planning on shooting video of the neighborhood luminaria on X-mas eve and your video gave me all the info I need to be successful. Does anybody know if you can use active track with night mode? If not, pro tip. In addition to assigning a button to the landing light, assign a button to enable cruise control as well.

Hi, Simple question. If DJI allowed 12800 without NR as a normal setting, would it not be better to use NR in DaVinci Resolve or other editors. Much more control. Or, is there some other magic DJI are using in Night Mode as well??
It's essentially the same thing one done on the fly and one done post, resolve should do it better but dji have wrote the code for this SPECIFIC application, so they'll probably be the same, minus the resolve taking agggggges part
Beautiful footage, just love your editing. what is your opinion on daytime footage shot on D-Log profile Iso Range 400-1600, does it affect any video quality compared to the original Mavic 3 Normal 100-6400 Iso Range?
Yes dlog is always the better choice! More details and less noise

Good stuff, but you didn't mention that in the USA we're required to have collision avoidance lights (strobes) that are visible from 3 statute miles when flying at night.
I can’t mention stuff about every specific country 😅 and I’m not even in the USA

Mini 3 has a much smaller sensor, it won't do as well in night tests and it doesn't have night mode sadly.
Lucky for you, did not tested Autel Evo 2 pro, cause your head would be blown completely :))))

After 12 hours in flight, my Mavic 3, the camera's gimbal drive went crazy, jerks left right down up, the horizon is littered and writes camera error. I contacted the dji service, sent them to the dji Ho Chi Minh service on their recommendation, they concluded that there were problems in the camera's gimbal drive and the camera itself was faulty, the mavic 3 was under warranty, but they started offering to repair it for $ 800, I motivate that the warranty is not global, and for some reason it should be sent to a factory in Denmark, someone have you heard that there is a dji factory in Europe ? The Mavic 3 box says that it is made in China. The logic of dji is like this, I have to send a copter to Denmark from Vietnam to my friends who are not there because I am not from Denmark, and I have to pick up the copter myself after flying from Vietnam to Denmark, a great plan?!) My answer is that dji should make repairs at its own expense, since this is a warranty case, and it's not my fault, there were no falls and bumps during flights. But for some reason dji decided otherwise and they persistently offer to change this spare part at my expense. I think that dji has deteriorated the quality of its copters and this defect is present in many mavic 3. I leave this unflattering review, in the hope that the one who was going to buy the mavic 3 copter was aware of what he might encounter, namely, a factory defect in the mavic 3 and, of course, with repulsive service and warranty support!!!

Night Mode sounds an awfully lot like "Night Vision" but it's not. Where is the night vision? Totally dark, like in the woods, but the camera sees in green.
