I just discovered your videos on Amazon and really like your style: technical, logical, efficient, comprehensive. I'm making sure I use your Amazon links to make my purchases. Thank you for your wonderful work!
🎥 It looks super lightweight and perfect for travel. I love how it combines functionality with style-great addition for my home kit decor too! Can't wait to try it out on my next adventure! ✈✨
You're most welcome Ryan! I'm really glad that you liked the testing and the review, and it makes me happy to know that I could help you with your decision 😊
Excellent review video. You really put the towel through its paces in what I would consider real world applications. Comparing it to a regular cotton towel was an excellent idea. Thanks so much for all the work you put into these reviews.
Hey Denis! Thank you so much for yet another comment, I really appreciate your support for the channel, it really means a lot 🥰 I'm glad that you found the testing useful! Hehe and yeah I guess a regular cotton towel is what most of us are used to, so it made a good comparison 😊
@DeathPunchRigby Hey there and thank you for the great suggestion! I'm actually working on a few other things at the moment and I probably won't be updating this review for a little while. I do plan to update it in the future though, and I'll definitely keep your suggestion in mind :)
I watched your other video but in that one you were using the regular Pack Towel Personal correct? How does the Pack Towel Ultra Lite compare to the Pack towel Personal and the Matador?
Hi Scott! Yes I have the PackTowl Personal (featured in my 10 Best Camping Towels video) and the PackTowl UltraLite (featured in my 5 Best Backpacking Towels video). The Matador is in both videos haha. Hmm may I know what's important to you in a camping/backpacking towels? In terms of comfort, I like the Personal best. Then the UltraLite, then the Matador, because it's the thinnest. I usually break out my UltraLite and Matador only when I need to save on space and weight. I typically use the Personal more often. Hope this helps!
@@CampingGuidance thanks for the reply! I would need it mainly for backpacking/traveling - but I like to travel very light with light bag. Often I stay at places where there might be a towel provided. For me I guess I am trying to decide between the packtowel light and packtowel personal.
@@Scott-yn3qq Thank you for the reply as well Scott! Hmm since you like to travel very light, the PackTowl UltraLite (3.2oz) might be better than the PackTowl Personal (6.5oz). My UltraLite could absorb about 400mL/13.5fl oz of water, while the Personal could absorb about 610mL/20.6fl oz of water. But I found both of them good enough for after shower absorbency :) Feel free to let me know if you have more questions and I'll do my best to answer them!
@ZUCChinishrIMP Hey there! Thanks for the question 😊 I've actually done 2 full videos on camping towels and backpacking towels so there's quite a bit to say about this comparison hahaha. What's important to you? That way I know how to narrow down my points 😊
@@CampingGuidance I have seen both of those videos, thanks for the thorough reviews! Basically if you think the comfort of the personal outweighs the ultralightness of the ultralite. I'm looking to use this more as a travel towel, carrying only one bag. In the scheme of things the difference is only about 100g, just wondering if you think the extra comfort/softness is worth the extra weight/space. Thanks!
@@ZUCChinishrIMP Ah I see! Thanks so much for clarifying and also for watching my videos, that means a lot! 😊😊 And if 100g isn't too much for you, I would 100% go for the PackTowl Personal. In terms of comfort and thickness the Personal is much better. I think the difference is quite noticeable between the 2. I hope this helps! 😊

Hey! Can you review this against 100% linen towels? Such as the ones by Outlier?

Any thoughts on the ultralite vs personal?
