Haulover Inlet boats were running the with no remorse this weekend. Power Boats and Center Consoles with quad and quint engine setups were all over the place!

I have run through Haulover inlet probably 150 times over the 30 years in south Fl. This video is about the most calm I have ever seen it. Typically it will have waves 3 or 4 times the height of the ocean water. I have run it with everything from a 17' Boston Whaler to a 54' Bertram sport fish. And some serious fast hulls like my 27' Corsa twin 565ci Merlins. Haulover can be a scarry dangerous place. Only fools let their kids through it without a life vest!

TOTALLY agree on the "Scout"..rock solid..the others have a "nose down" look and a sloping stern. Won't do much good in real rough stuff off shore

The red MTI at about 8:00 has a Montana hull number. That boat is a long way from home. And there are very few places in Montana to even run a boat like that. Crazy.

The Mercury 400R is a V6 and the 450R is a super charged V8 and costs $60K each, all to drive a small prop.

There's a formula for this if you have one engine you have 10 in if you have two engines you have 5 in if you have three engines so on and so forth
