The real question one should ask, if they're interested in a better life is: Which motivator will take me where I want to go? PS - There are totally kick ass ways to leverage both fear and hunger in the pursuit of what you want. But, you have to mind-bend a little bit, and put yourself in a position you're not currently in, to see what you don't currently have, and imagine losing that. Then, you come back to where you are, to see what you don't have, and hunger after it. Hope that makes sense.

The bottom line of his lion/gazelle thing is, "when the sun comes up, you'd best be running." For many, that's the most powerful message because they spend most of their time stagnant. He knows his ideal client and he preaches that gospel. But, once you get moving and are in the HABIT of moving either out of fear or hunger, you want to take a step back and say, "Okay. A lion runs out of hunger. A gazelle runs out of fear. But humans are the supreme being on the planet because we can override our instinct and run for whatever reason we choose." That's the point at which you elevate and can then look back and start rewriting why you were stagnant in the first place. Do that, and you'll make the rest of your trip a whole lot quicker.
