I had the 2017 Sport trim with Driver-Assist technology along with the safety, convenience and climate package called the 401-A package. I loved the way it drove. Also that helps height-challenged drivers with the concerns you mentioned. Another necessity for this kind of vehicle is to have running boards installed, especially for, as I just mentioned, the height -challenged. Then came the 2020 models. Much different animals. These are RWD -based platform SUV’s. More goodies available and more expensive. I now have the Platinum trim in black with sand-colored leather-wrapped interior and seating. Too much technology though, restricts your personal driving habits, so you have to disable them at the initial set-up if you can’t live with them being “in the way” every time you get in your vehicle. But they are there for the driver’s safety in mind, and your passengers and the public. It has a sleeker styling with the sloping roofline present in Range Rover models. Shod with 21” bright aluminum alloy wheels, they do look fancy and expensive, which they are. I do get a lot of compliments from other motorists. Most, if not all, available technology and equipment presently offered are in this model trim, being the top-of-the-line of the Ford Explorer brand.
Why is ford explorer indicating “engine coolant over temperatur? I also noticed that the grill shutter is always closing up the radiator. This is one major reason why the car do have overheating.
