    I’ve never understood the complaint about a prop rod to hold up the hood. A prop rod never fails unlike struts which, after time, do fail. And let’s be honest here, most buyers will never open the hood to begin with. Only the mechanics that the owners take their car too will appreciate the struts.

    Father in law has a 2021 Explorer ST. His is a base model and he paid 50 grand. Engine sounds awesome under acceleration! It’s unassumingly quick too especially if you’re not familiar with the ST trim. He has 40kish miles on it now and he hasn’t had any mechanical issues. CarPlay craps out and won’t work half the time, squeaks and rattles, that sort of thing.

  • @Integratedcraig
    @Integratedcraig หลายเดือนก่อน +8

    The unpainted fender flair is quintessential ford-cheap-o. Ford knows how to style their cars, trucks and SUV's, but for some reason would prefer to offer a ridiculously priced and seldom selected 6k dollar painted roof, rather than a painted fender option. -probably has something to do with the Aviator/Lincoln relationship.

    Sorry about this comment but this always bothers me in your videos.
    That second row slides forward “mechanically” not “hydraulically”. Hydraulically would mean it uses hydraulic fluid to move the seats. My guess is those seats use springs to move it forward. As opposed to electric motors which would then mean the seats move forward “electrically”.
    Again, sorry about the nit picking. Love your videos.

    Going to RWD was smart. The turbo 6 cyl ST is about $60k. Good MPG. Prop rod hood pathetic. You buy the ST (w/6 cyl) for performance w/good reliable engine.
