I have played Ruby Sapphire religiously since set 2 dropped. The way I consistently beat Ruby Amethyst is 4 2 drop Cruella and 4 Judy Hopps. You have access to Benja. The 2/2 is really nice versus Discard if that is popular in your meta, so I agree with it somewhat. I get that you prefer Prince Eric versus steel, but you can quest and sing freely with Cruella, whereas it is much harder to do so with Prince Eric. Cruella also eats surfer Minnies. My goal especially when on the play is to Pawpsicle-> One Jump Ahead-> Hiram Flavorsham turn 3. I don't like that this build doesn't aspire to do the same. I have been looking for a Sapph Steel deck to try out, so I'm game to try this list, but in exchange, I'd like for you to test Cruella instead of Prince Eric. I think you'll find that she is a better fit for the job.

Even though S/R doesnt place well it is a common opponent and in my experience other than cheesing with a Whole New World for the Deckout they ruin you. They never run out of cards and Be Prepared and Aladdin make it so hard to ever establish a board and even if you do they can exploit your Questing with Shift Aladdin and completely swing the match. A/R is by far the worst match-up though as its just faster and better S/R control. Still a fun Deck and good for Swiss but will struggle at top tables since it will be mostly A/R in Top cut

It's a cool concept but you for sure would need Hiram over Judy for draw as you can't rely on rockstar.. also likely not enough 1/2 drops to synergise with rockstar

I actually haven't had any issues into red mufasa, I find we just out value them and send simba's dad to the inkwell
I think this is my favorite deck after it destroyed me in the online 1k tournament two matches in a row. 3-0 to 3-2 at the drop of this deck lol

Looks like it'll have a nice matchup into control decks! You may struggle into aggro decks without Steel or Ruby's area removal
